Romantic Mountain Chalet with Stream & Gazebo

This is a great little spot! Very quiet, lots of trees and a little stream in the back. The wrap around porch is lovely for coffee in the morning. Plenty of privacy for multiple guests as there is a loft with bedroom and bath and a sizable bedroom and bath on the ground floor. Host was great with providing details on accessing the property and suggestions of things to do in the area. We had a wonderful stay.

Weekend get away was successful. House was very clean. Owner very nice and quick on responses.

We really enjoyed our stay, the home was very clean and amazingly beautiful. Everything that you need is included..if you plan on cooking or grilling, all utensils are provided..there are two house phones but both gave busy signals when calling out. We washed our clothes in the washer but couldn't dry them because the dryer drum wouldnt turn, I'm guessing maybe the belt was broke. The grass needed to be cut, it was high, and there's a small pond onsite but its all grown up with weeds and a breeding ground for mosquitoes, we couldn't enjoy the deck for all the mosquitoes so take insect repellent..the home is at the beginning of a no outlet road, there are other neighbors nearby and no street lights, very dark, but it wasn't a problem...all in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. And maybe 5 miles to the nearest store, check in was very easy and all instructions were provided

Lovely cabin. Very crisp, clean and inviting. Quiet area. Wonderful deck. Kitchen was fully stocked. Management is very helpful and responsive. Saw today that the security deposit refund is pending on my account much sooner than expected. Wonderful experience.

The property was nice. The experience was good. The owner should break down and pay for local TV. DVD's only go so far. Other than that good.

Place is exactly what the pictures show. Nice charming warm cozy feel. Quiet area. Peaceful. Didnt want to leave

Nice home; it was clean with well stocked kitchen and plenty of clean towels.

The kitchen was fully supplied. We loved the windows. Even though it is in a neighborhood, the view is rural with a creek and trees and a cute gazebo. We enjoyed our stay here on Wednesday and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The host Bob and Lilly are very accommodating and the property and home are beautiful with all the comforts of home. They even provide a few things to get you going such as kureg coffee pods, and few spices for cooking .The home is clean and well maintained definitely looking to return perhaps in the early fall.

Nice peaceful week. A much needed get away from the noise of city life. Met a friendly dog during walk up the hill.

It is a very nice cabin in a good location. It was clean and very well stocked with linens and kitchen amenities as were the bathrooms. The only negative was that we were unable to light the fireplace. It was most probably due to the very low level of propane available.I would recommend this property as family friendly also.

This cabin is very clean, accessible, and in a quiet country neighborhood. Our host was extremely helpful and kind. We would gladly recommend this cabin.

Our third time staying here always very clean and great host

The cabin was very nice & welcoming. At the turn to the property we saw the neighbors horses which was enjoyable. All the furnishings were comfortable and the tv was easy to figure out but we couldn't get the inside fireplace to work which would have been nice due to the chilly nights. We would stay here again as we often visit Murphy due to family in area.

Chalet was well furnished and very clean. Not far from downtown Murphy and the casino. Julie's Place is a must do for eating! Host was very informative and a pleasure to speak with. Would definitely stay again!!

Lovely property inside and out. We had an issue getting a signal on my ATT phone, so I suggest you keep the address and access code handy when arriving. No problem once we set up WiFi. We enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was the couch was very uncomfortable. The weather was very nice so we really enjoyed the deck. We had a very good meal at Julies Place.

The cabin was in a great location - peaceful neighborhood. Cabin was pretty much clean other then some spider webs. We had a great time and enjoyed our get away. The negatives:I will say the bed mattress’s need to be replaced as they were not comfortable at all. Neither was the couch in the living room. You feel like you are going to slide off of it plus it was lumpy! No instructions on the tv. Had a difficult time using it at first. Another thing is the website says there is a fire pit when there is not one. Also there was no soap for bathing. Most places provide that. It needs to be addressed on the website so guest will know to bring some. The shades in the living area don’t work either - they don’t stay down.Overall we had a great time but negatives truly need to be addressed.

The location was perfect—not far from the highway, but with no highway noise. Very peaceful and quiet! The kitchen had all the equipment needed to prepare food to take to a family reunion.

Beautiful home! Very neat and clean. Nice deck to sit on with BBQ grill. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it.

Serene environment After a long work day

Visit with friends of 45 years. Beware if you’re late sleepers that the nearby neighbors have a rambunctious rooster and peacock to start your morning. We had a great visit.

This place brought us peace in a hard time. We were visiting for a funeral but the area is so peaceful and the place was very clean and the host were very quick to respond. We already are trying to plan to come back and enjoy the area some more.

My husband and I have friends that live in and around the Murphy area so we decided to go spend the holidays with friends and enjoy a relaxing mountain Christmas. Mission accomplished! The cabin location is perfect, very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

My only issue is, why am I charged the cleaning fee when we certainly didn't mess anything upbut had to strip beds, start a load of laundy and load the dishwasher had we utilized the kitch. Also, what does the service fee cover?

Very nice stay only complaint is that the last few vrbo homes that advertise a gas fireplace that I stayed at they haven't work. It seems to be a trend.

Absolutely a 5! This cabin was beautiful when we walked in. It was so clean and we loved how it was decorated. We especially loved the property because we could hear the water gurgling in the stream at the back of the yard. Loved the quietness of the location! Would love to come back.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful and located in a very nice location. The cabin it self is amazing. Loved the amenities and the ambiance. Will for sure like to visit again in the future.
