Complaints resulting from short-term rental guests (specifically pertaining to Parking, Noise & Over-occupancy) are THE MOST DIVISIVE problems within the community at Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality is vigilant about policing these matters.

We have zero-tolerance for breaches of the following rules:

PARKING:
-Guest parking is limited to a maximum of 3 vehicles
-Guest vehicles MAY NOT be parked on the road, ever.
-Additional vehicles may be parked in the Resort`s parking lots for a fee (Lot 5 is a short distance down the hill). Please contact Sun Peaks Resort Guest Services for details.

NOISE:
-Quiet time is from 10pm - 8am.
-Parties and noise are NOT ALLOWED.

HOT TUB:
-Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality has a strict policy prohibiting hot tub use after 10 pm.
-Guests MAY NOT use the hot tub between 10 pm and 8 am.

OVER-OCCUPANCY:
-Our maximum capacity is 12 guests, this CANNOT be exceeded.
-All guests must be registered on the guest list.
-Identification for all guests over the age of 18 must be provided prior to check in.

Any neighbour complaints or responses by municipal bylaw authorities resulting from a guest’s failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate booking cancellation & eviction, with no refund.

Guests are responsible to pay for any, and all, fines levied against the property and property owners resulting from non-compliance with these rules.
