Stayed Jan 18, 2025It was what could be a very cute little place, the price was so reasonable that I didn’t have super high expectations. The neighborhood and proximity to the mountain couldn’t be better. It was also really nice to bring my dog with me! The downside to this property was its lack of cleanliness. It’s just impossible that cleaners are coming in between stays. Even the exterior of the refrigerator was so dirty that someone smudged a smiley face on it. The doors all had black smudges and drip marks on them. I can usually overlook a lot, I don’t expect a little cabin at Elk mountain to have nice linens or other luxuries but basic cleanliness would be nice. It did make us feel like there was no way the linens were clean which is very uncomfortable.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024This adorable mountain house was both quaint and comfortable for our family of four with school-age kids. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and an unbelievable proximity to the mountain. Geoff was an excellent host, super communicative and gracious.
