Newer Buckeye Lake waterfront chalet

Rick is a great host, great communication with me prior to and during our stay. Very responsive to my requests. The property is very cute. Could use more seating in the gathering area, although it would be tight. The balconies were enjoyable. Inside and outside furniture cushions needs to be steam cleaned. We enjoyed the fire pit one night. A great girls getaway.

Location was wonderful and centrally located. Host was very responsive and welcoming!

Great place, lots to do!

We had a great stay at Crane Cove. This was our 2nd visit and look forward to visiting again! We love all the amenities including kayaks, paddleboat, bikes, and proximity to bike trail and water access.

The host was wonderful. The house and location beautiful. We chose to sleep in the upper bedroom due to lower level bed uncomfortable and talked to the host and he was receptive. The kitchen could use some additional and updated basics. The appliances were great. The outside dining table and chairs are also due for replacement. We would definitely stay again with these couple upgrades.

Great time in the ‘pink’ house. Perfect location on the lake, Well equipped for all our needs. Bedrooms are located for maximum privacy. Lots of things to do and we had a great time. Definitely will be back.

The property is overall great and perfect for a weekend getaway with kids. Ac works well. Mattresses could use updating and well as some additional kitchen utensils and spices to make cooking a bit easier. The balcony’s were nice to enjoy during rain storms!

Rick was a very pleasant host. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The location was great. It was a nice, quiet cove. The surrounding homes were beautiful as well. We loved sitting on either of the two decks. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The day I was due to check in, I had not received any instructions and had to message the host. I would’ve preferred to have received the information automatically so as not to have another thing to stress about on travel day. VRBO advertised electric car charging station on site, which was not accurate. The showers had very low water pressure.Overall I was happy with my stay and would visit again.

We came in from the Chicago area to go to the Columbus Zoo and the Wilds. The location was perfectly in the middle of our 2 destinations. Gorgeous spot on the lake with 2 beautiful balconies to enjoy the views and perfect weather we had! House was great for my family!

Quiet Cove off of the lake, but close to the highway and restaurants. Perfect set up for two couples. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with a central living area. Recommend.

Everything was as expected. We had a great time!

My friend and I stayed for a long girls weekend and had a great relaxing time. We loved being able to walk by the water and there were so many great little places to eat nearby. We also checked out the Dawes Arboretum which was only about a 10 min drive away. Loved our first trip to Buckeye Lake!

VRBO next to Buckeye Lake State Park / right by the lake. The house was VERY cute and cozy. I loved the balconies; I ate out on the balcony every meal. Great location for photography which is why I came. Owner available, welcoming, and very helpful with answering questions. I enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife and nature. Also, I rented a bike from the Boat House. The house was spacious enough so that I could use my yoga mat. Creno's Pizza nearby - absolutely yummy. I enjoyed reading time as well. Mostly, I appreciate that the owner stated on the written info. in the house that the area was not for parties, but for peace and relaxation! If I had to be really picky I would say that the refrigerator and pan for oven and bedroom lamp should have been cleaned better. Also, scissors to open things in kitchen and a box of kleenex would have been helpful (or maybe these items were available and I just couldn't find them). Overall, I am really glad that I came and have recommended this VRBO to others! A short vacation that I will remember forever!

Very clean great location awesome place to stay

We have rented this property for the 3rd year now and we are so blessed to have this property available every year! We truly look forward to seeing Rick every year and being back at our lakeside paradise for our girls trip every September! We look forward to our next trip already.Thanks again for everything Rick!

Property is beautifully decorated, location is great. Queen size bed was very uncomfortable though, could use a better mattress, and wish there was blinds on the double doors at night, but over all, rental is extremely nice, owner has put a lot of work into this place

This is our 3rd time staying at one of Rick's properties. The location is great. We can bring our boat and tie up at his dock. We used the bike path daily. Will be back!

Perfect house for four adults. We brought our boat and there was a dock for us right by the house. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again!!
