This was a great place to stay. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. The area is tranquil and so scenic with lots of places to go including great beaches. Our host looked after us well. Thank you for a great relaxing holiday.

Just spent a great week here, host is friendly and helpful. The house is very well equipped and spacious and has everything you need. Very near to some lovely beaches and close enough to Kilrush for shops and restaurants. Will be back in the summer.

Lovely kitchen , plenty of places to sit. Great washing machine, coffee maker and dishwasher. Expensive accommodation so the rubbish disposal should be included in the price (7 euro). Visitors should not be advised to drive 8 miles to take their rubbish to the recycling .

The house is large, which can be helpful especially on a rainy day. Good view through the large and numerous windows, from the upper floor one can see even a bit of the Atlantic close by. For us it was a perfect location. It is a perfect location, if you got a car (many interesting places reachable with a short trip!) and you are self catering/cooking on most occasions. If you do not have a car and do not like to cook whilst on holiday, then be warned: There is no infrastructure close by, even Doonbeg is a few kilometers away. The house was clean and well equipped, however, we had to clean some kitchen equipment prior to use. This was more a problem of the guests who stayed there before us, but one could have looked after that. Mr O’Brien was gentle and especially helpful on our departure where we had to change plans pretty sudden due to a ferry cancellation. Other guests complained about complicated waste disposal. We had no problems: We brought recyclable waste to Kilkee the day before our departure, Mr O’Brien looked after the general waste. Other guests complained about the 70€ for electricity. I admitt that this was a bit strange, since there is no refund when less is used but Mr O’Brien talked about additional payment if needed, but overall we had not a problem with it since it looks more like Mr O’Brien needs to keep things simple for him and it is not that amount.

The house is modern, clean and very spacious. The views across the fields to the estuary between Clare and Kerry are unspoilt. The garden around the house is maintained to a high standard. Beautiful White Strand beach Doonbeg is 3 minutes drive from the house. We had to bring all bins - general waste and recycling to a waste depot. This is a great inconvenience when one is on holiday to have to travel to sort out bins.
