Heaven sent mountain view!! Perfect for any occasion

The host was excellent and the amenities were excellent! The view was wonderful even though it was winter. We will definitely rent this one again!

This place is amazing. We spent the week of Christmas here and we couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. We loved the fireplace and beautiful Mountain View’s. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Murphy NC.

We could not have asked for a better post-Christmas getaway. Johanna's place has an awesome mountain view, it's easy to access yet peacefully tucked away, the bedrooms are real comfortable, kitchen stocked, I mean, it checked all the boxes, including convenience. We hiked six different trails in six days (Wesser Bald, Blood Mountain, Murphy River, Fields of the Wood, Jackrabbit, Turtletown Creek Falls) and were back in the comfort of the cabin before 5 pm, even with stops for coffee and groceries in there. Bonus: it's pet-friendly. And Johanna is a great host.

Second stay at this amazing place. The residence is beautiful and clean. From the minute you walk in you feel at home and comfortable. The view of the mountains as you relax are moments that live in your memory!! Thanks for having us again !!

We go to this area a few times a year and making sure your in a good spot is a big deal. Place had a very home like feel and we settled right in. Definitely recommend this rental

The location was quiet, and overlooks Hanging Dog Mountain, Tatham Gap, and the Snowbird Mountain range in between. It was peaceful, with the rare exception of a yellow jacket visitation, which the owner sought to remediate while we were there. We enjoyed college football all weekend, including our GA Bulldogs, and playing pool, and other games. This cabin is perched less than a mile away from dear friends, who live on Old Peachtree, and we were able to attend church with their whole extended family on Sunday. We enjoyed visits, at local restaurants, with two other very dear friends, and their families. The location was also a great springboard for launching over to Lake Junaluska/Waynesville, for brunch at the Buttered Biscuit, followed by a round of mini-golf in Maggie Valley. It also facilitated a visit to our absolute must-stop, the Jelly Belly Store, and a tedious, but not impossible trek to Soco Falls, which is now a half-mile strenuous jaunt, rather than the old strenuous jaunt of a couple hundred feet. We were even close enough to Murphy, to be able to drive the back way (Davis Creek Road) to the newly-reopened Bald River Falls bridge, on our way home. Heaven Sent has definite possibilities for us in the future, and we hope to stay again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here - we love the house, the view, and the location

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained.Kitchen was stocked.If your looking for a yard there was a small lot on the side of cabin next to the street.The street was pretty quiet. only the coming and going of residents.Owners response was excellent!Thank you!

This is the second time in 2 years that we’ve stayed here. The home is very comfortable and is in a nice location. Johanna was very accommodating as we had to change the dates a couple of times. No surprises, house was furnished with necessary items. If available, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the cabin for a week with 6 adults. There was plenty of space for everyone with a separate bedroom and bathroom on each of the three levels. We mostly gathered on the main floor the watch movies by the fire and play games. We did venture downstairs to play darts and pool. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate most of our meals in the cabin. It was a great relaxing week and I would love to come back and stay there again in the future.

This home was perfect for my husband and I- beautiful view, great location, well-decorated and clean house. We hope to stay here again next year

A great mountain home. Easy access on conventional roads. Home had great views. Also in a lovely neighborhood. A great stay!! A super host!!!
