Wonderful location, eclectic charm.
Delighted with this romantic beautifully architected cabin by local family of artists for family fun on the mountain. Celebrates Timberline architecture and styles. Lots of natural light and small details to make it memorable, easy, and cozy for all-year-round activities. Be aware the stairs to upper floor are steep and it is not a toddler-proof place, better for older kids and adults. Thank you to the family for sharing this place!
Beautiful cabin and location, everthing as advertised. However I didnt realize there was no central heat. The bedrooms were warm but we had to split wood and keep fires going to keep the main area warm.
This is an excellent cabin that oozes with character! The grand rock fireplace in the great/common room was the focal point of our stay. The large dining table (8) was excellent for dinners and games. The kitchen was well equipped. There are a few quirks about this place that may not suite all guests (mentioned in another review). cons: parking for 1. Advertised pass for a second vehicle was never found and no resolution with management. beds were small and at least one (mine) was uncomfortably firm. Bottom line... I'd stay there again in a heart beat!
What a gorgeous cabin. From the giant stone fireplace and rustic beams to the central great room and cuckoo clock, you’ll feel like you’re tranported to a hütte in the Alps. You can’t beat the proximity to Ski Bowl, Charlie’s and the Ratskeller as well!
This property unfortunately had multiple safety concerns. The main living area only had small space heaters that tripped the breaker and unless a fire place was going was very cold. There were no operational smoke detectors on the main living or in any rooms. In one room a used pair of underpants were found, and mouse/rat droppings in the cabinets where the bowls were. The electrical outlets also were not secured and would pull out. They had unsecured artwork on top of furniture that could have fallen on a child. I never leave a bad review but these had huge safety concerns for children and future guests
