This was a perfect spot for our family! Great access to hiking, we even tried the neighborhood trails- amazing views of Grandfather at sunset! We’ll definitely be back. Elizabeth is a great host!

Clean and cozy. Excellent communication. Beautiful area right in the middle of several options to visit and please to hike. Could have a little better lighting in the living room at night.Would def stay here again

Very cute Swiss chalet home in a great location in between Blowing Rock and Boone. The house sits in a golf neighborhood with a gated entrance. Likes: - Location ….20 min drive to shopping/ attractions - Cozy with gas burning fire place - Large dining room table - Gas barbecue outside on porch - Large porch Dislikes: - Family room is small with uncomfortable furniture. - TVs didn’t work - Cook ware is not great - Kitchen cabinets were old and don’t open/close well

Clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and accommodating of our entire family including our dogs!

We stayed for two months and the place provided absolutely everything we needed. Very cozy with a beautiful atmosphere. The Hound Ears community was quite very welcoming. Hosts were terrific and helped us with logistics for such a long stay. Pet friendly and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time celebrating the 4th in this lovely cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the water and birds surrounded by trees all while being in a great development!

This private cabin was great for a quick visit for a local wedding. Clean , charming vintage vibe added to surrounding beauty outside. Would definitely stay in the future.

Nothing but great things to say about the Cherry Hideaway. The house is located in neighborhood of other A Frames with placed between massive natural boulders that populate the area. It is a magnificent place to get away. Loved the design of the interior, record player and large deck. Location between Boone and Blowing Rock is ideal. Would definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable and charming A Frame rental in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed hiking on the trails in the neighborhood and found it convenient to both Sugar Mtn for skiing and Boone for local restaurants.

Overall great stay. Snowy weekend so stayed in to stay warm.

Lovely, enchanting home, was warm and cozy for our Thanksgiving stay 2024. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and beds. It is in a quiet and secure gated community. We enjoyed our stay. Our host communicated in a warm and prompt manner.

We had such a special long weekend in this magical little chalet. Such cozy and thoughtful touches throughout. Grateful to have found this little slice of heaven in the hills!

The cabin was located in a nice wooded area. Far enough from town making the stay quiet and peaceful. But close enough to town to enjoy all that Boone and the surrounding areas had to offer. The host Elizabeth was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We will certainly stay again next time we are in Boone.

This sweet , serene and cozy cottage was exactly what we were dreaming of when we planned our family summer vacation . The cottage exceeded all our needs and expectations...and with 3 teenage girls and 2 dogs, that is sometimes a seemingly impossible feat! HaHa. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore Blowing Rock , Boone, Banner Elk and Linville in a matter of 10-15 minutes. Megan was an outstanding and responsive host and one that wants you to love the cottage as much as she does. I'd like to be greedy and gatekeep on this one, but my guilty conscience wouldn't allow me too. It would be quite unfair and cruel not to share something this lovely. Charmed@Cherryhideaway is a delightful gem we cannot wait to rebook! Thank you for the priceless memories!
