The campingsite our chalet is situated on, is located in the dune edge within walking distance of the 'IJmuiden aan Zee' beach and has been kept as car-free as possible.
Children can also enjoy playing on the grass or in the playground on site.
During the school holidays various activities are organized by a recreation team for large and small in the 'Praathuis' or outside.

Stayed Jul 20, 2023The bungalow was like described in the internet. It has enough space for a few days for four people. It is a little sad that we have to buy every spices for cooking and there are no pan lids. The Little garden is very nice to have a rest.

Stayed Jun 20, 2022My friend and I rented this place as a base for cycling. Yes it’s in the dunes but it’s a bit further from the sea than you would expect (almost a mile). It’s in a gated camping area that has a nice store and restaurant with odd hours. Getting to and from from the airport was a little tricky but there is a bus stop right in front of the camp entrance. The same bus alternates - Be sure you take the one that terminates “an zee”. Overall a great place to stay. Getting to Amsterdam & Haarlem is super easy. Our hosts were very nice.

Stayed Apr 15, 2017We had a great 3 nights at Ijmuiden and our hosts Mikael and Hui really have thought about everything in the holiday home. Great base for exploring Zondvoort, Amsterdam and regions with family bus pass 14 Euro a day and bus stop straight outside the camp! 100 percent better than a hotel room!!! Loved our stay thank you Mikael and Hui!
