Chalet Grimentz - Splendid view (Weisshorn - 4506 m) and guaranteed calm

Excellent property, well equipped, great view, quiet, high up in the village - we had a super stay and would recommend.

Really fantastic chalet in a great location with amazing views. The chalet is very spacious in the living space upstairs and the quality of the fixtures and fittings is excellent. The host Sebastian was extremely helpful and quick to reply. I would recommend having a car if staying in this chalet as the bus stop is a bit of a walk but still doable if children aren’t too young. Grimentz is a stunning village and skiing is excellent.

Chalet Grimentz was perfect for four middle aged hikers each having a comfortable bedroom to themselves. We had a long trip to get to the chalet with flight delays and the drive up the mountain, but all the effort was worthwhile when we opened the door for the first time to see the splendid living space, both attractive, comfortable and functional. We used the kitchen to cook supper every night which provided all the equipment we needed. When the weather was warm e We had supper on the balcony. The backdrop across the valley to the snow capped peaks always captivating. As a base for walking holidays Val d'Annivers and Grimentz are fantastic, the long hike to the Cabane Grand Mountet has to be one of the most spectacular and rewarding in the Alps. We hope to be back in a coule of years.

The chalet is beautiful. You get the true atmosphere of a Swiss cosy chalet. It is very convenient, nicely furnished and decorated. The view on the mountains is fantastic. Great communication with Sebastien, the owner. We would love to come back.

We had a great time in Grimentz. The area is beautiful and the house was perfect. It was well equipped with everything we needed, clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

Our stay was in every aspect perfect. We found the chalet in best condition, clean, kitchen equipped with lots of extras (e.g., Fondue), everything we needed was available, important to note that we did not miss any detail. The view is stunning, for everyone who likes the mountains, you can't get enough from enjoying the magnificent view to the Weisshorngruppe. The region is also perfect for Summer vacation. We were hiking, biking and trail-running a lot, many tours can be easily started directly at the chalet, for example, we very much recommend the 18km round tour to the Becs de Besson and back over the Pas de Lons. The region around the Lac de Moiry region is highly recommended, too. It was very quiet during our stay, not that many poeple, in the mountains we were pretty much alone (which we personally enjoy much more than crowded tourist spaces). However, there is still plenty of cafes and restaurants. The COOP market in the village and a boulangerie are perfect, you get everything you need, so no need to drive down to the larger villages. Overall, highly recommended, and worth a trip. The five stars everyone is giving are absolutely justified. Thank you Sebastien!

This chalet offers all that is needed for a wonderful, relaxing time with friends and family. We highly enjoyed staying here.

Chalet is attractive and very well equipped in a beautiful village.. Can't fault the calet, it had everything you could ask for. The village is very pretty and has plenty of local shops and a cashpoint. The chalet rental includes a local pass which gives free use of local buses, cable cars, mini golf, indoor and outdoor pools etc meaning you can leave the car for the holiday and use public transport, as well as entertain the family if not walking. The walking is amazing, with beautiful glacier hikes. Also plenty of mountain biking and climbing.
