Centrally Located Private Chalet with amazing views! Bonus: Hot Tub

Moose Pass is the perfect base for the activities we planned in Seward. The host was very responsive to all my questions, and the Stellar Jay chalet was clean and equipped with all the amenities our active family of five needed for a great vacation.

Host was very welcoming and wanted to make sure we had any needs met. Gorgeous view. Great location to things south and north.

The perfect mountain retreat. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was great overlooking the mountains. It was a really wonderful property. Highly recommend. The hosts even left us a homemade French toast dish for the next morning that was excellent!

Great place! Comfortable beds. AMAZING view. Super easy to communicate with the hosts. They also surprised us with a delicious breakfast French toast casserole in the fridge. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The views of the lake and surrounding mountains from the Chalet are amazing! Hot tub was great for seeing views and relaxing after outdoor excursions. Host was kind and welcoming, and provided helpful suggestions on activities nearby and fishing. Overall, we had a memorable experience visiting the Kenai Peninsula, and would stay here again if ever back.

Wonderful stay in Moose Pass! The chalet was conveniently located between Seward and Anchorage. Having breakfast already prepared for us for the first morning by the host was a really nice surprise! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, beautiful views, and an awesome cabin!

What a fantastic place. Well equipped - we made several meals there. The view was amazing. The hot tub was clean and we appreciated the rules around it to keep it sanitized. Dark curtains helped with the summer sun. Nice drive into Seward and Kenai. Overall definitely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stellar Jay. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the view of the mountains and lake was beautiful. Very thoughtful hosts left us a French toast casserole that was delicious. This house is great for hanging out and a good home base for hiking and rafting and fishing.

We had a lovely time at Stellar Jay Chalet in Moose Pass. The home was very nice and so clean. Location amazing and the views are gorgeous. Highly recommend. Host, Gary, is super nice and helpful. Hope we can go back one day!

We had the best time in this location and in this chalet. It was central to so many wonderful spots to explore and also had their own amazing views and lake access. It was perfect for our large family and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a perfect trip to the Kenai Peninsula in late May. We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 5-11) and zero complaints. The photos don't do the views justice when you're in the Stellar Jay chalet. We spent too much time staring out the window. The kitchen is very well equipped and allowed us to cook multiple meals at home. We found plenty of linens and the WiFi and cell signal were both excellent. The house is centrally located so it's an easy drive from Anchorage, up to Whittier, down to Seward, or over to Cooper Landing. We had a great time exploring Alaska and using Stellar Jay as our home base for a week. We hope we'll be able to come back some day.

We came to Moose Pass for spring break from Anchorage. It was 4 of us, and our two chihuahuas. The view is absolutely stunning (even when we live in Alaska and see the beautiful mountains on the daily, this view was still breathtaking). The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked several meals and were never lacking anything we needed. The BBQ worked great. The place was clean, family and pet friendly. The bedding was comfortable and we finally got a good night's sleep! The hot tub was relaxing and our entire stay was just fantastic. We will definitely request to book again the future.
