The situation of the lodge is stunning, with rowan trees around the property. The weather wasn't good during our stay, but we didn't have to move from the sofa to get spectacular views out of the windows! There was a selection of books to read, which I made use of. The beds were very comfortable & the heating system was easy to use, except for the fact that the heating controls in the bathrooms were at floor level. Our only other minor criticism was that the deck was a little slippery in wet weather.
