Beautifully decorated & immaculate log chalet on 3 acres, winter views.

The property is lovely. We were there in June, but I can imagine how this place really shines as a winter getaway - especially so close to a ski mountain. Ample parking and comfortable rooms. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked, and we appreciated that we did not have to bring in basics like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, etc. The gas grill worked beautifully. The front deck is a great place to enjoy coffee in the early mornings. We just wish we had more time to spend in the beautiful firepit area.

We stayed at this wonderful chalet style house in Hillsdale for a few days whilst visiting family in the area. It was very comfortable with everything we needed, nestled in a very quiet area surrounded by trees and nature. The beautiful patio and fire pit was a real bonus. We will definitely come back if we got the chance at some point!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Morning coffee on the deck and late night listening to the tree frogs were highlights. We didn’t have time, so we’d love to come back in the fall to enjoy the leaves and the firepit. Nearby Millerton is a quaint town. Great house and hosts.

Perfect cozy stay for a girls weekend in. Kitchen was very well appointed and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfy. We hope to make this a yearly tradition at this cozy cottage!

Stayed with my sisters for my sisters birthday and it was amazing. The house is perfectly sized and laid out. It was super clean and everything was nice. Close to food and the mountain and everything. Can’t recommend enough!

An absolute stunning place to stay with the family or even by yourselves it’s a home away from home right in the middle of nature peaceful quiet and everything you need and while right within six minutes Of the home. We were able to hit all the places necessary for our family stay, NYC, Mass, CT, and other parts of New England. What’s a beautiful time of the year to stay, the smells of fall all around you, apple cider donuts, delicious homemade cream, amazing coffee in the town of Hillsdale. Can’t wait to book again. Tools were clean, whole home was immaculate upon arrival, and the owners would respond immediately if I had any questions, I wish I could give them and this home more than 5 stars! Such a cozy and warm place to stay: we drove around Western Mass. and Hudson. Alley and this was the perfect home base. Bill and Elaine were easy and prompt with communication. Unfortunately the autumn leaves were not cooperating in any because of the warm weather, it it is a beautiful area, nevertheless.

Stayed in the fall three days for a wedding. 3 minutes to the venue, 3 minutes to the Little Cat Lodge and 12 minutes to Great Barrington. Super airy, spacious chalet and clean! Great kitchen amenities, knives, pots, dishes etc. Friendly and attentive host.

Had such a comfortable and relaxing stay. Enjoyed the fire pit with family and the house was exceptionally clean and ready for enjoy. So many activities close by to enjoy as well.

Great location as we were there for a Tanglewood music weekend. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The host is reliable and answers any question you have in a timely fashion. It is clean, kitchen is well stocked with anything you would need. We will definently consider this property again.

Possibly the best vacation property we've ever rented. Spotlessly cleaned, well stocked, and a perfect set-up. Gas fireplace stove was wonderful. Patio/fire pit area in the backyard was beautiful. We were in the area for skiing and basement entry was perfect to keep our gear. Short 5 min drive to Catamount Ski area. Toured nearby Stockbrige & Lenox as well. The pictures in the listing truly do not do this cabin justice...even better in person!

Truly immaculate and perfect getaway for us and our family to go skiing, Beautifully decorated real log cabin. We loved warming up around gas ‘fireplace’ and the peace and tranquility of the neighboorhood. Roads were plowed soon after snow fall and kids loved playing in the snow. Highly recommend. Great hosts.
