Dover, VT is the town of Mount Snow ski area.

Guests can enjoy many restaurants, bars, and outdoor equipment stores in Dover and nearby Wilmington. You can find a list of local restaurants in our local guidebook.

The Rock river and the Deerfield river (north branch) have their sources in the town.
The Dover town forest trail network and back country zones start at the end of Rice Hill road and Clinton Bond .

Nearby trail: Rice hill trail, Southern access trail, Loop Trail, Rock n Rolla, Andy's way to the little chicken area, Up Track
All trails are walkable. Some are also used for biking and snowmobile rides.
Please follow the Southern Vermont Trail Association maps and guidelines before using the trails.

The forest roads around the house are also walkable and have beautiful views.

Located on one acre, this 2832 Sqft post and beam chalet has an authentic Vermont feel.

The chalet interior design mixes a tasteful blend of classic and modern. The open space on the main level offers a few sitting areas and an open work space.

In the summer just open the screend windows to let the mountain wind flow through the house and enjoy the cool mountain air. There is also a large ceiling fan in the center of the house and portable fans in the bedrooms.

For fall and winter, the chalet has a floor heating system with a new (2024) combi boiler for heating and on-demand hot water, and two propane fireplaces for fun warm evenings.

Full professional KItchen with new appliances. The Kitchen is well provisioned with all cooking needs.

The house has a master bedroom and a full bathroom with indoor hot tub on one end of the upper level and two bedrooms and one bathroom on the other end of the upper level.

The common area on the upper level offers a library, office space and a sofa bed.

Two sets of stairways to the 2nd level: standard, easy to climb and a spiral design.

The lower level provides extra sleeping with 75 TV, workout area, half bathroom, and a laundry room.

Enjoy the mountain view from the Porch, Deck, Outdoor Hot Tub, and the Fire Pit area.

There is a detached two cars garage on the property. Plenty of parking on the driveway in the Summer and up to total of 5 cars in the winter.
