1. Heating and Electricity:

Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.

If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.

If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways:

•Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property.

•Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.

Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.



3. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

    We liked being able to share a cosy home whilst having our own bedroom each, especially after staying in B&Bs. The house had everything we needed for our stay and we particularly liked lighting the fire for the ambiance. Thank you, we will be back! We had a wee bit of trouble finding the place since google maps sent us to the wrong place. Maybe change the coordinates?

    Nisa was very welcoming and helpful. If we had an issue she was there in minutes. The kitchen is well equipment and the house was very clean and comfortable. A washing line would be great for our swimming gear. There are drying racks in the house but they tend to blow over. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom is not very comfortable.

    The property was within walking distance of all local amenities and was spacious, clean and particularly well equipped. Darren the Trident rep on site was very helpful and catered for all our onsite needs. Our property was very neat and well kept however the general upkeep of some other properties (probably not signed up to Trident) could be improved e.g. flaking exterior paintwork or paintwork in need of refreshing. Improved lighting at the entrance to the estate would be beneficial.

    Close to shops None of the street lights on the approach to the estate or in the estate were working and the area around the house was very dark and not very welcoming.

    Fabulous location on Achill Island. All mod cons in house. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short drive to 5 blue flag beaches. Highly recommended.
