Achill Island has five beautiful Blue Flag beaches to choose from: Keem Bay, Kell Strand, Dooega, Golden Strand, and Dugort, all of which are easily accessible from this seaside holiday home.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.

If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.

If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways:

-Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property.

-Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.



Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking.

2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.



3. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

    Clean, compact, cosy cottage…everything we needed was provided, including plentiful supply of turf. Nisa was very helpful, hospitable and very prompt with communication and requests. We are hikers and stayed here for 10 days. This is a beautiful, bright and scenic location, easily walkable to bus stops, shops, pubs, take-away, cafe and the amazing Greenway. I highly recommend this wee cottage. Nothing

    We stayed 3months every thing we needed was there (home from home)it was very cosy and comfortable. Martina in the office was great as was Nisa who was on hand always. Thankyou Trident holiday homes. Nothing to add

    Lovely accommodation in an ideal spot to see and explore the area. Stunning views from the back, gorgeous to sit and have breakfast overlooking the estuary. Nothing was too much trouble for Nisa, an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting the island. What a beautiful part of the world.

    Just back after a lovely week in Achill sound. House was spotless clean as every trident house is, we have been in a few at this stage and every one has been great. What you see on Web site is what you get. House very close to Achill sound walking distance. House well equipped with everything you could need. Manager Nisa couldn't have been more welcoming. As weather was chilly in the evenings and a couple of nights we even lit a fire Nisa brought us as bag of turf when she heard we lit the fire. No hesitation in recomnending this house.

    This house suited us as we were visiting a relative in the nearby nursing home. Apart from Wi-Fi it had all the aids for daily living. Nisa the house key holder was very helpful as usual and assisted us with anything we needed explained Wi-Fi would improve the stay. I understand that this may be forthcoming

    We had a lovely family holiday here with lots of space both indoors and outside. Made all the difference when the weather was quite wet! Our host Nisa was so accommodating, helpful and friendly, sourcing baby blankets and more turf for us. This holiday home would benefit from complimentary wifi. We have a young baby and we were told there wasn’t a high chair or cot, only to discover both high chair and travel cot (with no bedding) were there after going to the trouble of bringing our own with us.

    Very impressed with the house it was very clean and the location was brilliant. I don't think there is anything to improve on, everything was perfect for us. I would like to extend a special thanks to Nisa she was very helpful and explained the running of the house perfectly.

    Excellent house, Comfortable beds, electric shower, fully stocked kitchen. Nisa was perfect and on hand throughout the weekend. Will definitely be back. That we couldnt stay longer. Weather was amazing.
