Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent six nights in the East Wing of the Chateau. The photos were accurate, but the house feels a bit worn. The town of Grandcourt has only a bar - no bakery or restaurant, and the closest grocery is about 5 KM away, so we had to drive for everything. I had hoped it would be a good base for WWI touring (and had even specifically inquired about that) but all the real WWI sites were at least a 1-2 hour drive away. For a relaxing vacation without any sightseeing or touring, this would be a good place. The grounds are pretty and the pool was nice. However, as a base for touring the sites in the area, it was not terribly convenient. Still, Angela was quite responsive to the concerns we raised, and did her best to have the local contacts address issues we had.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The chateau is a lovely place to stay. It has loads of character and was enjoyed by the whole family. There was plenty of space and the property was fully equipped with everything we needed. The arrival package of champagne and local goodies was a really nice touch. We were particularly pleased with the attention to safety in the grounds. We had a two year old with us and it was very reassuring that all the streams and swimming pool were properly fenced off. She loved feeding the donkey and the horses in the evening as well. The pool area is lovely-very clean! It was good to have nice clean bathrobes and o many towels provided. The BBQ area was fantastic. We found the owners to be very helpful and all communication between us was very swift and helpful. Whilst at the chateau we found it easy to contact staff to help us. They really went the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. The surrounding countryside is stunning. (Great for walking). The chateau is ideally situated to do day trips to Versailles, Paris and Disneyland. We all really enjoyed visiting Le Tréport, Dieppe and Berke ( which had a lovely sandy beach.) The local shop is really good and the fresh bread is amazing! All in all we had a fantastic stay at the chateau. It was a really family friendly place. We would defiantly visit again. Thank you

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a wonderful relaxing weekend in this fabulous chateau which is just as splendid as it looks in the photos. The tranquil village setting provides a lovely backdrop for this magnificent country house. Dieppe harbour and Mer- le-Bains are only 25 mins away and you are only 1.5 hours from the Eurotunnel, making it easy for a quick weekend getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I would just like to say what a lovely stay we had in your chateau. It really is a beautiful place and we have had a fabulous short break there, not long enough and we have all said we would love to go back at some time! Alison and Yuri were wonderfully welcoming and so very helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them, please pass our thanks onto them (We arrived late on Wednesday after motorcycling the coast road, and all the shops were closed for supplies so Yuri took the guys out to collect pizza!). We will definitely reccommend the chateau to others - Its a gem in a lovely part of France and one of the most delightful places we have stayed.
