Our vaulted apartment is part of a 14century Castle! Tucked away in rolling meadows with only birdsong to rouse you. We're in the Castle over 25 years & know the locality well.Fishing, swimming, horse riding, historic tours & not forgetting music, craic & great company. It's all here waiting for you!

It's a genuine Medieval building, packed with history in a very ancient part of Ireland. But guess what Dublin is 15 mins toll to the toll from Navan!

Stayed May 11, 2026The property is beautiful and has interesting history. It definitely has the feel of staying in a medieval castle. Dave and Sue were very friendly and helped us without question when we had a flat tire.

Stayed Jun 11, 2026The bolthole was amazing! Sue & Dave were also great! (There isn't a dryer but they offered theirs for us to use when they saw our bathing suits hanging outside!) Very friendly couple! 20 acres of land surround the area & we were able to walk around & play! Very close to Navan with a whole bunch of shops & resturants!

Stayed May 23, 2026Lots of Irish historic charm in this castle. Dave and Sue very friendly. No outlet in the bathroom but great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen is not very equipped to cook a lot and for coffee, it only has a French press.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025Charming and quirky 14th century building with modern upgrades. Location is great, we enjoyed n excursion to New Grange. Hosts were very responsive. The kitchen has minimal utensils if you plan to cook.

Stayed Mar 14, 2025The wood burner adds to the welcoming appeal of the bolt hole, which provided comfortably accommodation for my wife and I, along with our Irish Water Spaniels. This was our second visit to Durhamstown Castle and we'd certainly stay again.
