Stayed Aug 1, 2024My family loved our stay in the Family Tipi. It comfortably slept 6 (3 adults & 3 children). The beds are hotel quality with plenty of warm blankets for the cooler nights. They provide the stuff to make s’mores around the campfire every night. The BR/showers were well kept. Usually the hot water was out by morning but we just made sure to shower at night. About a 20 min drive to West Yellowstone and the West Entrance. With plenty of shopping and food options. Great experience! Would definitely stay here again for our next Yellowstone trip.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Sleeping in a teepee has been on our families bucket list, and this experience was absolutely amazing. The grounds are part of Idaho's state lands and the grounds were covered in native plants and fauna, making the experience authentic. All accommodations were extremely clean and well kept. There were many games and a campfire in the evening along with s'more making. This was our highlight of visiting Yellowstone.

Stayed Sep 3, 2025We stayed while visiting Yellowstone from the west entrance. Fairly quick easy commute. The teepee was as expected it’s basically camping which was cool. Just be aware the floor is a deck, cows will be outside and while plenty of blankets are provided it can be chilly in September overnight getting up to use the bathroom lol.

Stayed Aug 31, 2025Fun experience, nice beds and blankets, difficulty meeting food needs in this remote area and the extra challenge of not being able to have good inside the tipi.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025We loved this property. Our kids had a blast and getting to stay in a tipi will be a lifetime memory! Shower facility was clean and the provided towels were so thoughtful. The welcome center tent was well equipped with snacks, complimentary games and so hospitable. Water refill station, free coffee and hot tea in the mornings was so nice. Super close to great recreation options like ATV and boat rentals and some great restaurants.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025My whole family of five stayed comfortably in a tipi one night and were plenty warm because of the comfortable beds and blankets provided even though it dropped into the thirties overnight! We had a lovely time by the fire and playing tetherball.

Stayed Aug 17, 2024We booked one of the tipis for the night on our way through from Yellowstone. It had plenty of beds for our family and is very clean. Beds are really comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets to keep warm. Host hospitality is great with the campfire at night, s'more's cookout and to meet other campers. My only regret is OUR rental car alarm going off at 5am when we were trying to leave “quietly” because the key fob got too cold and wouldn’t work. I’m so sorry to all those we woke up abruptly.. I would highly recommend staying at Starlight Retreat

Stayed Aug 22, 2024We had a great stay here! We loved the whole experience, but it was an adventure for sure. We loved the friendliness of the hosts and other guests. There was a community feel around the campfire and yard games. There was also a moose wandering around, a massive thunder storm with torrential rain (that does get a little in the tepee, they warn you of this!). The bathroom facilities had an issue so we arent able to review those, as we only had port-a-potties for our night there. But really, our family had a great time and would love to stay again!

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Yellowstone trip with 3 night stay in a teepee (teen bucket list item) was a big hit with our teens! Great communication & service the entire time. THANK YOU for helping make this a great family vacation. When you 1st arrive, check in at the Welcome Tent, call if no one is there. Optional: Pick up bear spray & pay for propane heater. Campsite was beautiful & clean. Spacious teepee. Comfortable beds had plenty of pillows, fitted sheet, flat sheet, & comforter & also 1 small extra blanket per bed. Used the propane heater every night. Thunderstorms the 1st night & had no leaks. 2 nightstands with lamps, outlets for charging your phones & laptops. Wouldn’t run a hair dryer. Bring camp chairs to sit outside the teepee. Clean showers/bathrooms are short distance from the teepee & water was hot. There was shampoo, conditioner & body soap. Chest outside showers for dirty towels. If you have a disabled or elderly person, be aware the doors were a little difficult to open & close as you walked up the 3 or 4 steps as they wanted to shut on their own. The community fire pit has wooden chairs, picnic tables, roasting sticks, a tether ball & corn hole games. Camp hosts were friendly & good company while we roasted complimentary smores & our own hot dogs. Community fire pit from 7-10pm. Around our teepee we saw moose, deer & many different birds. It's a beautiful location close to a main road & there weren't any bear trash cans onsite so my teens were not too worried about bears.
