CAMPING AT ITS BEST….
Come enjoy your week camping in a gated campground, community swimming in the pool, fish or crab on one of our licensed piers, or put your boat in at the marina and try your luck at fishing. * no boat* no problem there are plenty of charters in the area to take you and your crew out for a day. (just ask the host in advance) There is a small General store on site, along with a nice playground for the kids. Weekly activities going on at the clubhouse. There is a restaurant on site to keep you from having to get up and cook each morning. Small general store for any of your camping needs. The clubhouse offers wireless wi-fi.
You will be only 20-minute drive to the town of Chincoteague and 30 minutes from the Assateague Island beach. This campground is just across the water from Wallops Island, you can watch the rockets launch right from the Marina. Ocean City, Maryland is only 45 minutes away, so you can be sure to grab some boardwalk fries. And do not forget while staying in Trails End to get a snowball from Pony Penning.
This is a nice camper with one private bedroom with a full-size bed and there is a futon in the living room to sleep 2 more guest. A tent is available for use if you have extra people. there is a 50 inch flat screen that gets more then 15 channels in living room and a smaller tv in master bedroom. This camper has a nice restroom along with a bathhouse just a short walk away. There is a small washer and dryer in the camper along with a coin operated laundry facility on site. Linens and towels are provided to save you from having to pack the extras. Sit by the firepit and enjoy some hot dogs and s'mores . There is a grill on site and if you need a steamer to boil that fresh shrimp or any other special request just ask and will do what we can.
There is parking for up to 2 plus your boat.
Everything was great! Shelley (the property owner) was amazing! She thought of everything, was easy to talk to, and kept you updated every step of the way. The property was very clean and easy to get to. Absolutely 5 star service in everyway. We can't wait to come back!
It was a lot nicer than we thought it would be. The owners are fantastic people. We hope to stay again next year. The pool and boat ramps are great. The store is well stocked. We would recommend it to everyone. Except the weeks we want it. Lol
i would staythere again
Fantastic RV in the Trails End Campground. Very roomy for my family of 3. The hosts thought of everything. You could stay here with minimal belongings because Scott and Shelley give you a great place to relax and sleep, everything you need for a hot shower, and a morning cup of coffee. The towels and linens were all very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. They even had a grill, fire pit and cornhole boards. The fireplace provided a nice ambiance. The campground has a store and restaurant for anything you may have forgotten. The hosts were also quite friendly. I wouldn't mind staying here again.
Nice property close to amenities, beaches. Property had everything we needed.
Everything was perfect. The RV is clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Shelley was quick to respond with answers to our questions and very friendly. I recommend this property highly! We will be back!
Nice and cozy getaway. Will definitely stay again.
This was our first experience with VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised how easy it was. The camper was nice and clean, tastefully decorated, and everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend.
Shelley was a great host. The trailer was very clean and had everything available and if you did not happen to have something the host would most likely have it and quick to respond to any questions. The campground itself was nice also, Fishing Docks and a crabbing pier on the bay with a great view. The pool was nice but there is a small fee to get passes. Be sure to try the water ice at Pony Pop, they have fun flavors and toppings to go on. The Chincoteague island is a step back in time. It's about a 20-25 min drive from campground mostly over the causeway. The beach area itself is full of wildlife from the ponies to the dolphins to the beautiful white Heron. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Wallops Island is on the way to Chincoteague, check to see if there is a rocket launch while your Stay at trails end its a fun experience. Food lion and Family dollar are about a 10 min drive and Wal-mart a 20 min drive. Trail Ends was a peaceful, relaxing community along with having a great host made our vacation memorable.
What a wonderful place. All the extras and more. The only bad part was we couldn't stay longer.
This property is the bomb everything you need. If it’s not at the site ask the owner and it will be. Loved our stay and met lots of nice people
It was great and the nearby neighbors were awesome.
