The Pond is Only 1 mile from Canal Place in down town Cumberland Maryland, and 5 miles from the Rocky Gap Casino and Resort . Here in Cumberland Maryland we have 2 Campgrounds. The Pond is located at Campground 1, of The Cumberland MD, Campgrounds. The Pond is only 3 miles from Campground 2 located along the North Branch of the Potomac river and the C&O Canal National Park

Stayed Mar 21, 2024Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at Big D's Pond, one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. Hippie baths All in all, you will not be disappointed!
