COLORADO LIFESTYLES
Submitted Sep 12, 2025
Stayed Aug 29, 2025The property is absolutely spectacular and we truly immersed ourselves in the beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Don't let the lack of electricity scare you, you will love the experience of being unplugged. If you want a true Colorado mountain vibe, this place is for you!

Stayed Jul 29, 2025We really appreciated the info we got online, and the property manager connected with us as soon as we made the reservation with directions/details. Everything was just as described...even better. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed fishing and living off grid. A fun step back in time! Gorgeous, serene, peaceful and quiet...we loved it!

Stayed Aug 9, 2023Love the cabin. Kids had a blast. The wildlife was great. The only downside is that the cabins are closer to each other to each other than I had pictured. Love that there are no plugs and the several days of electronics free. Just be prepared if trying to meet up with people not staying on site that there is no cell service and limited wifi to try to communicate if necessary. Will definitely consider staying again if in the area.

Stayed Sep 19, 2022The cabin was the perfect size and had exactly what was needed for an off the grid experience. Beautiful scenery , very peaceful, and excellent star gazing. Close enough to both Lake City and Creede if you feel the need for company - we didn't.

Stayed Aug 7, 2022We love this place. We have stayed at Oleo many times before. The updates are very nice. We especially enjoy the scenery, the wildlife, fishing and we love the peace and quiet. Jeremy, the ranch manager, was wonderful. He was kind, courteous and very helpful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very cozy cabin even when it got into the 30s in the early morning. Well equipped kitchen. Pretty natural wood walls and ceiling. Beautiful view of mountains out big picture windows in front room. Nice to be away from cell phones and electricity for a few days. Very quiet except when people drove by to get to their cabins. Propane refrig, stove and lighting worked fine. Good NFS hiking trails within a mile. Mule deer doe grazing right behind our cabin. Caretaker friendly, helpful and available.
