Your Relaxing Rural Escape

Booked for a birthday weekend with 3 girls. We arrived on Friday evening so the morning was a beautiful surprise as we hadn’t had a chance to see the scenery yet- lovely views from the cabin! Everything was clean and very covid safe. We were a bit concerned as some of the wineries we had planned to visit were quite far away but with a bit of planning it all worked out well.

When you want peace and views with comfort but not all the pizazz of a 5star BnB this place hits the spot. Well equipped and cozy for a couple wanting a quiet get away.

Charming cottages on 25 acres at Mudgee, which our dogs also loved! Small kitchen and outdoor BBQ allowed us to cook (but a great pub down the road as well). Reverse cycle air kept us toasty warm and hosts were super friendly. We will be back.

A great country escape providing all the necessary items. The hosts were very accommodating and happy to help guide you on the local attractions. A lovely rural setting for a quiet and relaxing get away.

We stayed in Myrtle cottage. Great place for 2 people. Loved all the animals on the property and that we could take our dog. More instructions on how to use cable box would be helpful.

I wanted some time away from Sydney's busy life, traffic and noise. This cottage gave me all of those, it was amazing. The night sky is what I was looking forward to and it was phenomenal, never seen so many stars in the sky because of all the light pollution, even got to see a shooting star. During the day was nice and quiet and just amazing. The cottage was nice and cozy, the reason I've given only three stars is due to the utensils provided. The BBQ was pretty filthy, the cooking utensils had a bit of left over from whoever used it last, the sheets on the bed were fine but the extra blankets provided seems like they haven't been washed in a while. Overall I enjoyed the stay because of the beautiful scenery, the night sky, and the kangaroos around the property. Thanks

The overall stay was great. It's nice to be so remote, and be able to bring pets. Shame about the beds in the loft, not sure the foam mattress did my back any good, but other than that, a well kitted out little vacation home not too far from the action.

It was perfect. Clean, well presented cottage. The weather outside was cold but inside it was perfectly warm with the heaters provided and there were plenty of blankets too. Arriving and leaving was well organised ahead of time (Which was great as there is no phone reception). Loved it and would go back again next year.
