TESTIMONIALS;
August 2025, Stayed with a pet- We stayed for 5 nights with 5 adults, 1 child, and our dog. There was plenty of room for all of us. We saw a few moose in the neighborhood throughout our stay which was pretty cool.
The place had all of the appliances we needed and was very cozy. It was a great location for us to drive over to Yellowstone each morning too. Crista was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend to others.
October 2025, Stayed with a pet- We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Island Park cabin. The location is beautiful. We appreciated having our own space to relax and unwind in the peaceful atmosphere. The cabin is conveniently located near hwy 20 allowing for easy access to a peaceful retreat. We were pleased to find the cabin clean and tidy, a welcome change from our previous experiences at other trips. The host provided valuable suggestions for adventures prior to our arrival and responded promptly to our messages. 10 out of 5 stars

WELCOME HOME TO YOUR AWESOME VACATION CABIN not just some cramped garage loft! It’s just 15 short minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in West Yellowstone, Montana. It is approximately 3/4 mile off Highway 20 in a nice quiet and wooded area. Your place is the perfect setting to relax after enjoying a multitude of adventures including fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ATV riding, boating, skiing and hiking. Come here and enjoy the great outdoors and mountain views here at your ideal vacation location.

Your spacious mountain cabin has a comfortable queen bed in each of its two private bedrooms. In addition, there are 2 queen beds and 1 twin sized bed in the loft for your comfort. Each comfortable private bedroom has its own flat screen television, and the loft is also equipped with its own flat screen television and VCR/DVD player. All bedding is freshly laundered with additional pillows and blankets to make your stay extra comfortable. There is even a desk and chair located in the loft for your use. Please note that all sleeping accommodations are upstairs.

When you arrive, enjoy your cabin as you get familiar with your open floor plan on the main level. It includes a large gathering place with a living room and kitchen. With a grocery store just minutes away and a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities provided, you can prepare a marvelous home cooked meal. There is ample dishware, silverware, quality cookware, and appliances including an electric skillet, blender, crock pot, coffee maker and more. Create memories in this open concept kitchen with barstool seating for 9 and additional dining on the deck. If you prefer dining out, your cabin is within minutes of multiple fast food or fine dining restaurants. Just off the kitchen is where you can relax in your wonderfully cozy living room with 3 couches and a large grandma's chair. Curl up with a good book next to the propane fireplace or enjoy your favorite show on the large flat screen television with Roku for watching your favorite personal streaming accounts.

Your spacious, main floor bathroom includes all the fresh towels you need to get tidied up after your adventures. The hot water is on demand so you will always have a comfortable and relaxing shower! It also includes a washer and dryer to tidy up your clothes, if needed.

Your large, private deck provides room for everyone to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air and wildlife in the adjacent aspen grove. Experience a fun dinner on your barbecue grill or gather around a crackling fire with warmth and songs at your open fire pit.

Cell phones work very well at your cabin with internet access/WIFI available at all times. With that being said, the city of Island Park does occasionally experience slow service during peak vacation times due to the influx of users. This occurs throughout the entire area of Island Park.

Your Yellowstone Cabin at Island Park is open year 'round and is conveniently situated in a central location for a variety of activities. You will be within minutes of some of the area's best adventures. Of course, you're very close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with all they to offer. Your cabin is just south of a public boat launch at Henry's Lake State Park. And, in the winter ice fishing at Henry's is amazing. Did you know record fish are frequently caught there! Travel south on Highway 20 from your place and you can visit the roaring Mesa Falls, experience the wonder of Johnny Sack Cabin at Big Springs or the majesty of Sawtelle Peak. There is world class fly fishing on Henry's Fork of the Snake River or on the Madison River. Enjoy a live dinner theater close by at Mack's Inn Playhouse. Relax and soak up nature during a float trip, on hiking trails, during a horseback ride, or even a round of golf at Island Park Village Resort. Take a few hours to hike around Harriman State Park or visit their historical ranch community. This location is a snowmobiler's paradise. Take your sled to some of the area's best trails accessible right from your cabin's front door! There is definitely something for every level of rider. Enjoy over 500 miles of trail riding or be a little more adventurous boondocking in some of the softest over-the-hood powder ever! Ride the best back country hills and steep climbs that you can possibly imagine!

The area is known for its native wildlife with a mamma moose actually bedding down right in your yard! Keep an eye out for fox, elk, deer, and a beautiful array of birds and woodland creatures in the adjacent aspen grove. If you listen closely, you may hear the calls of the resident bald eagle and her two chicks. Your cabin is definitely a nature lover's peaceful retreat! Please note that there are all sorts of wildlife in the mountains so you may consider bringing your favorite repellent and be sure to do what you can to not bring them into the cabin with you. And, when booking any cabin in the woods, you will expect to encounter insects, spiders and other wildlife. It is part of the experience. Your cabin is not hermetically sealed so bugs, spider, and all sorts of wildlife may enter the property. Please keep the doors closed so they do not enter unexpectedly.

A starter supply of coffee service, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and dish soap are provided. However, depending on personal preference or consumption, you may need to bring or buy extra supplies during your stay. There is a small county grocery store North on Highway 20 called Sam Patch Co. where we do all of our shopping when we stay at the cabin.

This is a NON-SMOKING cabin. We are also under a county ordinance for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health. We ask that you please stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and please be neighborly. Please be aware that this cabin is on community electrical and WIFI systems and we pass along the most current recommendations from them to our guests as applicable. For protection, video and audio can be motion activated and monitored on the outside of the property at the back door and front door looking out toward the parking area. By booking this property you acknowledge and agree to the rental agreement that is sent with a confirmed reservation. You are also responsible to your own health and safety during and after you stay at this property and management and/or owners are not liable. And travel insurance is good to have if you are worried about anything that may hinder your ability to stay.

We look forward to your stay here at your Yellowstone cabin at Island Park!

    We really enjoyed our stay at this Island Park cabin over the New Year holiday. It’s equipped with everything you need to make your stay perfect. We had everything we needed to cook meals, and the grocery store was very close.Check in and check out were easy with the instructions provided by the host. The location was great, with easy access to a lot of trails.

    This place was even better than expected. We all had such a ball here and in Yellowstone a short drive away. So comfortable no matter what the weather outside, well stocked with everything we could need. Great communication as well.Totally recommend this amazing place!

    Nice location, easy to find, and great communication with the host. Not as clean as you would like. Dishes had to be washed before we used them and crumbs under the furniture had attracted the dogs.

    We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The house was very clean and in a great location—close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive to all our questions, and when we had a hiccup with the dryer, they quickly sent someone over while we were out and we came home to dry clothes. That kind of service really makes a difference! The upstairs can get a little warm during the day, but with cooler nights and the fans provided, it was perfectly comfortable. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

    The property was everything that we needed after traveling over 36 days in an RV with 3 dogs, 3 grandchildren and 4 adults, sometimes sleeping everyone in the RV leaving the youngest to sleep on 35 packs of water with cushions. Very comfortable and exactly how it was advertised.
