Yellowstone's LUXURY Cabin Retreat, w/Hot Tub! Ten Minutes from Yellowstone NP!

The house is beautiful and well appointed. We were four couples that really appreciated the king suites with private baths. The kitchen and living spaces were large with plenty of room for us and not be on top of each other. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a long day in the park. The drive to the park is quick. Rand is very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at your lovely cabin was a memorable part of our vacation. Everything was exceptionally clean and the cabin was up to date and tastefully decorated. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

Excellent location and beautiful house!

We actually stayed in a different home owned by this owner. It’s their Teton View Lodge. The home is absolutely fabulous! The view is outstanding! We did not have a single complaint. The home was clean and very well stocked. The owner and housekeeper were very responsive and helpful. I will warn you that when they say the driveway is steep, they are not exaggerating. Most of us refused to even attempt the garage. We would absolutely return!

The house is amazing! It has pretty much everything you need. Cooking utensils and pots/pans were great. Rand was great when I contacted him with a question. Definitely recommend staying here or one of his other properties.

It was so beautiful inside, the outside was so very nice and saw moose and baby plus deer and the birds were outstanding. Our Host was excellent and checked on us. He listened intently to what we were saying and I am handicapped and he took to heart my few suggestions. I love the thought of him doing that and believe he will.

Hello hello!!I have drafted this review for the lodge we stayed, let me know if any revision needed. We recently stayed at the Monticola Lodge in Yellow Stone area for 4 nights with a group of five couple friends and it was the perfect setup for us. The lodge is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, and it served as an excellent home base for our Yellowstone adventure.One of the things we appreciated most was the well-equipped kitchen. Our group enjoys cooking, and we fully utilized the kitchen throughout our stay. It was thoughtfully stocked with cookware, utensils, and supplies, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together each day.The location was ideal for exploring Yellowstone, and after long days of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to the lodge and relax together. We did experience a minor issue with the hot tub and weren’t able to get it working, so we ended up skipping it. However, it honestly didn’t dampen anything or take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.We made many wonderful memories here and would highly recommend Monticola Lodge to families or larger groups visiting the Yellowstone area. Beautiful house (it’s called a cabin but really a high end house) situated nicely, spotlessly clean, virtually new, just a short drive from the W Yellowstone park entrance. And Rand the owner/host is right there to help in any way. From the towering two story stone two sided fireplace, to the chef’s kitchen, to the beautiful dining table fully set for service for 12 when we arrived, the place has everything you need! Two floors of living with two living areas makes it easy for multiple families to exist comfortably. And the town of W Yellowstone is a great place to eat (The Madison has a great Elk rack). Highly recommend.

Looking for a vacation of a lifetime, you have found it! This house is stunning!!!! You literally only need your food and drinks! We had family and friends with us and everyone had their own space and privacy! The home is so well kept and cared for! Rand was a dream to work with and I must say, he thought of EVERYTHING, with this property! We will definitely be returning to Montana and I promise you, we already know where we are staying again! I’m so thankful to have found this property and look forward to our next stay!

Beautiful home and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay! We had a group of 12 and everyone had a wonderful time. Rand was super responsive and helpful with any questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this home - perfect location for West Yellowstone. We went to Big Sky one day to dogsled, rode snowmobiles through the national forest, and took a Snow Coach through Yellowstone. Highly recommend Buffalo Bar in town for a meal and the pizza from Slippery Otter was a great take home dinner after a full day!

The place was incredible and we just loved it! The kitchen was very large and had everything we needed or could need. Plenty of room to work, two fridges, two ovens, just wonderful! Everyone loved their rooms and said the beds were very comfortable. The location was very quiet and private. The place had a great outdoor grill. The hot tub was wonderful. And the layout of the place was great. Each guest had their own bedroom, and a huge central great room with very high ceilings. We would recommend this place for family gatherings, or gatherings of any type. We are definitely considering coming back in the future!

Monticola Lodge was the perfect place to host our family get together! After each day's long tour of Yellowstone and Grand Teton, we enjoyed coming back to the home's many amenities. We especially loved gathering in the beautifully decorated kitchen, dining area, and large living room.

The property is beautiful. Check-in was a dream and it has chef’s kitchen for sure. The perfect set up for a large group. Front patio on rear patio are set up for socializing.

This cabin retreat was spacious, clean, and beautiful, and looks as shown in the website’s photos. The five large bedrooms and bathrooms met the needs of our family, including our four adult kids and their families, well. The lower level’s large family room with games was great for the littles. The laundry room includes two washers and dryers, which was great for our large group. The kitchen was very well-appointed, including two full-size refrigerators, and the table was set beautifully when we arrived. We enjoyed the grill, fire pit, and deck with hot tub outdoors as well. The owner was helpful and responsive. The cabin is set in the woods, up high on a hill, so you may see a few deer outside. One caution: the water pressure was not as strong as we would like, probably due to the location. Overall, a lovely cabin home with many conveniences and thoughtful details. We would highly recommend.

The house is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a family vacation. We had eight adults and one 20 month old. We enjoyed the space so much. The kitchen is amazing and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The hot tub was perfect after long days in the car going to Yellowstone.

This was a beautiful place to stay during our trip to Yellowstone - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the numerous amenities including the hot tub. The only caveat is that the heating is fixed - so it got a little warm (during the summertime) unless we opened the windows.

The family of the groom stayed at this home and it was beyond beautiful. The 4 same size rooms are perfect and then the one room with the 3 beds was fun for the older kids. The attention to detail in the home was so beautiful. We cooked and baked and they had everything. It could not have worked out be4tter.

Our group of three siblings and their families had a very enjoyable stay at the Monticola lodge. Everything at the lodge, from kitchen, common spaces, bedrooms and outdoors are well organized and great for families to get together. It is also very close to the park entrance which made it convenient for our daily trips.

4 siblings and spouses stayed at this amazing place. The house gave the perfect amount of community gathering areas, yet allowed for private time in the wonderful masters with ensuites. Rand responded to our questions promptly. Perfect place, would definitely stay here, or at any of his other properties again.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and clean! The house is very close to the town and west entrance to the park. Great location. Highly recommend this home if visiting Yellowstone Park.

We love it

The property was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need or want! Rand and Sonia have really outdone themselves on this one. We stayed during the winter season and LOVE the location with a good amount of seclusion and perfect snowmobile trail access. There is nothing better than a long day of trail riding topped off with a nice, relaxing soak in the hot tub! We had everything you could want to cook a nice meal, the guys enjoyed nightly card games at the oversized dinning table and us ladies enjoyed chatting by the fire with a cocktail. Our only issue was very low water pressure, which Rand addressed immediately. The only problem was that within a few days the water pressure issue moved from the showers to the kitchen sink, not as impactful but made it difficult to rinse the sink to clean. The only other issue was that if the bedroom doors were closed, the temp dropped significantly in them. We were never able to get the bedrooms above 67 degrees, which dropped to 64 during the night if the door was closed. The living room/common area was always nice and toasty! We were comfortable for the most part, but this could be a much bigger issue for others during the winter months. We would love to come stay at this cabin again and will recommend to others. Rand and Sonia are always excellent hosts!

Thanksgiving family getaway. Everything was perfect…kitchen, board games, bbq, fire pit, game room and so much more. Thank you for providing such an amazing getaway.

My family enjoyed this beautiful cabin. The property is beautifully maintained. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing air hockey and relaxing in the hot tub. A unanimous vote was to return again next year.

We came to Yellowstone to celebrate our 60th anniversary and chose Monticola Lodge as our home away from home. We could not have chosen a more beautiful, functional home for our family of 11. (Ages 2 - 81) Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us. There was plenty of room to be quietly separate and noisily together. We had so much fun coming together each evening in the fabulous kitchen cooking up the evening feast. Thank you again for the very thoughtfully designed, furnished, decorated and cleaned vacation home.

This is a beautiful home!! Very tastefully decorated and inviting. I personally loved the state of the art kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. We were only here for one night but we wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!!
