TESTIMONIALS;
August 2025, Stayed with a pet- We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed, yet quiet enough to relax. Crista was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
July 2025, Stayed with kids- Crista’s cabin was a perfect place to call “home” for our group of 7 during our weeklong trip visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks! The cabin had everything we needed, and the hot tub was absolutely wonderful after long days hiking in the parks. As a bonus, on our last night at the cabin, a bull moose walked right down the road while we were in the hot tub, such a cool thing to see right before we were about to leave! Easily a 5-star stay, we would happily book the cabin again if we’re ever back in the area! Thanks Crista!

This beautiful cabin is located 15 min from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is approximately 3/4 mile off Highway 20 in a nice quiet and wooded area. This place is the perfect setting to relax after enjoying a multitude of outdoor adventures. Come and enjoy the great outdoors and mountain views here at your ideal vacation spot. **high clearance, 4WD with snow tires is necessary with snowfall in the Island Park mountain terrain and to access cabin during snowy weather.

This cabin has a comfortable king size bed in its spacious master suite with its own private bathroom. This spacious suite has all the comforts including extra bedding and a large flat screen television with Roku. In addition, there is a spacious loft that has two versatile bunk beds with double beds on the bottoms and single beds on the tops. There is even a desk and chair for any work you may have located in the loft. These rooms are upstairs, so take note if you have limited mobility. If mobility is an issue for you there are sleeping arrangements on the main floor on a hideaway bed/sofa in the living room. All bedding is freshly laundered with additional pillows and blankets to make your stay extra comfortable.

When you arrive relax and enjoy nature as you get familiar with the cozy floor plan. The main floor includes a large gathering place in the kitchen, a full bathroom, laundry closet with washer and dryer and an inviting living room with large television equipped with Roku. Please note, the woodstove is not a source of heat as no fires are allowed inside the property. With a grocery store just minutes away and a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities provided, you can prepare a marvelous home cooked meal. There is ample dishware, silverware, quality cookware, and appliances including an electric skillet, blender, crock pot, coffee pot and more. Create memories in this open concept kitchen with various seating options for everyone and additional dining on the lower and upper decks and by the firepit on the picnic table. There is even a highchair stowed away along with a baby/ pet gate and a pack and play baby bed. If you prefer dining out, your cabin is within minutes of multiple fast food or fine dining restaurants. Just off the kitchen is where you can relax in your wonderfully cozy living room. Curl up with a good book or watch your favorite show on the big screen television with Roku for streaming your personal platforms.

Your spacious bathroom downstairs includes all the fresh towels you need to get tidied up after your adventures. Across the hall there is even a washer and dryer with laundry soap and fabric softeners to tidy up your clothes, if needed.

Your large, private decks provide room for everyone to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air and wildlife in the surrounding pine and aspen groves. Experience a fun dinner on your gas barbecue grill or gather around a crackling wood burning fire with warmth and songs at your open outdoor fire pit. Please check local burn restrictions prior to lighting a fire in the pit.

Cell phones work very well at the cabin with internet access/WIFI available at all times. With that being said, the city of Island Park does occasionally experience slow service during peak vacation times due to the influx of users. This occurs throughout the entire area of Island Park.

Your Yellowstone Cabin at Island Park is open year 'round and is conveniently situated in a central location for a variety of activities. You will be within minutes of some of the area's best adventures. Of course, you're very close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with all they to offer. Your cabin is just south of a public boat launch at Henry's Lake State Park. And, in the winter ice fishing at Henry's is amazing. Did you know record fish are frequently caught there! Travel south on Highway 20 from your place and you can visit the roaring Mesa Falls, experience the wonder of Johnny Sack Cabin at Big Springs or the majesty of Sawtelle Peak. There is world class fly fishing on Henry's Fork of the Snake River or on the Madison River. Enjoy a live dinner theater close by at Mack's Inn Playhouse. Relax and soak up nature during a float trip, on hiking trails, during a horseback ride, or even a round of golf at Island Park Village Resort. Take a few hours to hike around Harriman State Park or visit their historical ranch community. This location is a snowmobiler's paradise. Take your sled to some of the area's best trails accessible right from your cabin's front door! There is definitely something for every level of rider. Enjoy over 500 miles of trail riding or be a little more adventurous boondocking in some of the softest over-the-hood powder ever! Ride the best back country hills and steep climbs that you can possibly imagine!

During the winter months we keep the main driveway plowed and the walkways cleared. For your convenience, a snow shovel will greet your arrival at the front door in case any additional snow has fallen. The driveway in front of the cabin will accommodate 2-3 vehicles. There is a convenient large parking area less than 3/4 of a mile just off Highway 20 for trailers. You are welcome to drive your sleds up to the cabin so you can hit the trails early! High clearance, four-wheel drive is necessary for Island Park and Yellowstone's mountain terrain during the winter and snowy weather. During the winter, please check on parking availability a few days prior to your arrival.

The area is known for its native wildlife with a mamma moose actually bedding down right in your yard! Keep an eye out for fox, elk, deer, and a beautiful array of birds and woodland creatures in the adjacent aspen grove. If you listen closely, you may hear the calls of the resident bald eagle and her two chicks. Your cabin is definitely a nature lover's peaceful retreat! Please note that there are all sorts of wildlife in the mountains so you may consider bringing your favorite repellent and be sure to do what you can to not bring them into the cabin with you. And, when booking any cabin in the woods, you will expect to encounter insects, spiders and other wildlife. It is part of the experience. Your cabin is not hermetically sealed so bugs, spider, and all sorts of wildlife may enter the property. Please keep the doors closed so they do not enter unexpectedly.

A starter supply of coffee service, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and dish soap are provided. However, depending on personal preference or consumption, you may need to bring or buy extra supplies during your stay. There is a small county grocery store North on Highway 20 called Sam Patch Co. where we do all of our shopping when we stay at the cabin.

This is a NON-SMOKING cabin. We are also under a county ordinance for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health. We ask that you please stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and please be neighborly. Please be aware that this cabin is on community electrical and WIFI systems and we pass along the most current recommendations from them to our guests as applicable. For protection, video and audio can be motion activated and monitored on the outside of the property at the back and front doors looking out toward the parking area. By booking this property you acknowledge and agree to the rental agreement that is sent with a confirmed reservation. You are also responsible to your own health and safety during and after you stay at this property and management and/or owners are not liable. And travel insurance is good to have if you are worried about anything that may hinder your ability to stay.

We look forward to your stay here at your Yellowstone cabin at Island Park!

We stayed at this cozy Island Park cabin in late March/early April for spring break, and it was exactly the kind of relaxing family getaway we needed. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and the washer and dryer were absolutely lovely—such a luxury when traveling with two teens and a tween! We didn’t have AWD, which we definitely recommend that time of year—we got stuck at one point, but Crista was fantastic. She guided us through the situation with such kindness and got us connected to the right help in no time. The cabin itself was warm and welcoming, with some of the best heating we’ve experienced in a rental. The vaulted ceiling in the primary bedroom was a beautiful touch and made the space feel extra open and relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the complimentary toiletries were such a thoughtful surprise! Our family spent our days soaking in the hot tub (a magical experience in the chilly weather!), playing Nintendo tournaments, watching movies, and laughing over card games. The kids had a blast sledding and turning the bunkbeds into forts with their blankets. It was wholesome, screen-light fun that brought all of us closer.A tip for winter visits—park in the back! It’s much easier access in snowy conditions. All in all, we left feeling rested, happy, and grateful. This cabin is a gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat.

This place was awesome, very clean and well organized. I really appreciated all of the small touches, extra toothpaste, toothbrushes, moisturizer, and anything else you might have forgotten. This cabin has everything you need and the attention to detail was incredible. Loved the fully stocked kitchen and the hot tub at the end of each day was much appreciated.

This cabin was great to stay in. It is about 20 minutes from West Yellowstone. It had everything you could possibly need for a stay here. It was very clean. The host got back to us right away when we messaged them. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and we even had a moose in the yard.

This cabin is a great place to stay. We were able to enjoy three great days at Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is located about 20 minutes from West Yellowstone. The cabin was well stock with the things we needed for our vacation. The first day we had two moose cross the street to the cabin. Lots of space for my family. It would be a wonderful place to stay any time of year. A grocery store is less than five minutes away. Thanks for allowing us to use your property.

Amenities were thoughtful and we would definitely come back next year. Our stay was in June and the temperatures were very comfortable.

Overall great property and fit for our family. We were gone most of the time in Yellowstone, but enjoyed a place to cook dinner, do laundry, enjoy the hot tub and comfy clean beds. If you have kids monitor the shower water temperature as finding the right temperature could be tricky and it gets really hot. We also had to time some of our hot water use shower/laundry/washing dishes because we ran out the first night. No problems after we realized we needed to do this, just mentioning so others aware and might find it helpful. Kitchen had a lot of the basics including spices, Pam, etc. which was nice not to have to buy every little thing for a short stay. Host was very responsive with any questions we had.
