The skys were as advertised-amazing. Very roomy. Some limitations to anemity usage and some upgrades needed. But it was amazingly quiet and peaceful!
Nice property close to my family roots and close to alot of scenic activities/fishing/and National Parks
It was a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to collapse after each long day of hiking and playing outside. And the night sky was incredible. It was too big for one person but the location was perfect for my needs since I wanted to visit several places in Arizona as well as National Parks in Utah. Highly recommended.
This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to get away and relax. The views are breath taking for day photography or night photography, we went to Moab, Four Corners, the reservoir just down the road for the kids to go swimming. This was a great central location to see many things but also so quiet to just sit on the deck and enjoy the silence and views. Homeowner was great and we will definitely be back.
Nice cabin for a few days to explore the area. Good starting point for many National Parks and Monuments.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here as we were exploring the area. It was nice to be a little bit away from everything on the property, and the huge deck was so nice to enjoy watching the sunset or night sky. There are so many things to see in the area, and we plan to come back with our family. Linda was helpful if we had any questions and wanted to make sure that everything went well. We had a wonderful vacation.
My wife and I stayed for five days and found the house to be the perfect base camp to explore the area. We spent each evening and morning on the deck watching beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Very secluded. We will be back!
Very clean, quiet home. Great resource book to many local sights. Very comfortable.
Although a couple of miles on a track off the main highway, it was easy to find from the directions, and our host Linda left a basket of tasty extras for our arrival. The home has all the facilities and comforts you would need and was spacious and elegant. We travelled to Arches, Canyonlands, Natural Bridges Monument and Goosenecks, plus several areas for trekking and we loved coming ‘hone’ to the cabin to sit and watch the sunset. We had taken groceries and easily cooked our evening meals, enjoying the tranquility of the home and the sense of peace. The house has a large living kitchen area, a large master bedroom, with sliding doors to a further bedroom with two double beds. A third double bedroom also could fit a couple.
This is a beautiful, roomy, centrally located property for seeing the Four Corner sites. However, it does operate off the grid with a back up generator. We had two major problems. One, it was advertised online as accessible. It was not. We had to negotiate six steps to get into the house. That was a problem for two of our party who had mobility issues. Second, we arrived to find out that the 20K generator had been out for two weeks and we had not been called by the property manager, as the owner had instructed him to do. We were advised to not use the dishwasher, washer, dryer or guest CPAP machines after sundown. That was a problem as we had long site-seeing schedules each day and wanted to come in of an evening to shower, do laundry , cook and prepare for the next day. We were also limited with lights and fans. The property manager did not seem very interested in getting an alternative generator so at least the CPAP machines would work. That caused a lot of anxiety by the two parties needing to use them. Fortunately, the property owner was on site and went to work to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even located a shower chair to make the garden tub more accessible. By the end of our stay the online listing had been corrected. To date there has been no effort made to adjust the fees we paid. We specifically said to the property manager that we felt that would be appropriate since he had failed to call us and allow us to stay at another property in the area. The property owner also agreed that a monetary adjustment should me made. All in all, this would have been an ideal property if it had indeed been accessible and we had been able to use all the appliances when we needed them.
We had very nice vacation.
