So cozy and well appointed, beautiful.

Very cute place! Quiet with lots of outdoor space/nature around. Bonus for being dog friendly! Area is great with wineries/food options and lake access just up the road.

Wonderful place

Cabin is private, and isolated in the best way. Great place to unwind and unplug. Wonderful trails, great hosts, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fact that the cabin is decorated like a house- not some cutesy kitschy rental. One of our most restful and pleasant stays any where.

This secluded cabin was a wonderful place to stay. The place was clean, well kept, and decorated really nice with antique fishing and skiing items that are perfect for the area. The property is very secluded, but close to many vineyards and just a couple miles from the State park on Keuka lake.

Our host was extremely responsive and the cabin is the perfect place for a relaxing and secluded getaway. The waterfalls in the area are stunning but the highlight of the stay in the private deck and firepit area tucked into the woods. We would definitely stay here again.-Jennie and Scott

We had everything we needed and the host called me to ask if I was able to check in okay, which was very nice. It was a very nice remote wooded location, which is just what I was looking for. The cabin had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed watching the birds at their feeder.

The cabin was exactly what we were hoping to find, very secluded yet close to everything we were planning to do. Very comfortable and with all the extra little touches that made it feel homey. We loved sitting and watching all of the wildlife around the bird feeder each morning while having breakfast. Phyllis was very accommodating and really goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect!

Fantastic spot, pet friendly responsive host to anything we needed, even checked in with us to make sure we made it in OK. Calm serene spot in the woods with private trails on the property. The whole family loved it. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. It was relaxing and peaceful in Grousehaven cabin surrounded by nature. My sons are adults now and still come every year with my husband and I to get away and meditate in the finger lakes. There is so much to see in the finger lakes. Exactly what we needed! Beautiful, clean and organized inside, calm, peaceful and secluded outside. Would definitely love to stay again. No issues, no worries, close to the lake and boat launch. Close enough to towns and restaurants but secluded enough that the only sounds you hear are nature. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place!

This house was amazing. Very private and everything listed was spot on accurate. The hosts were very easy to communicate with which we didn't really need to as everything was great. Loved the property with the fire pit and walking trails. Only suggestions I have would be to add a mattress topper on downstairs bedroom bed for added support and the shower head in bathroom was extremely low flow making showering longer due to the extra time needed to rinse off as water pressure was so low which I totally understand being a rental and also did not take away from the truly outstanding property and home this is, truly 5 stars. We will for sure be coming back for a stay again. We love love love that it is pet friendly as well!

Perfect remote setting in the woods. The cabin was good. I did find the cabin decor a little cluttered, but that’s a personal preference. Furniture was comfortable, cabin was clean and absolutely everything we needed was ample.

The cabin was in a nice location. Tucked back 8n the woods. Bird feeders attracted many birds. Many nice ammenities that were not expected. Great place for dogs. Very satisfied. Will return.

Secluded but not too far from the water, nearest town and other points of interest. We stayed with our adult children, 2 dogs and were so comfortable. Phyllis was very accommodating when we had a need or request!

Well Thought out Lodge a Place Relax

A truly peaceful experience. Our second time staying definitely will not be our last! I highly encourage anyone who wants a quiet getaway to come here. If you do end up staying grab some maple syrup it is delicious!

Nice cabin and great setting. We loved the privacy and nature that surrounded us. Couldn't find the trails that are listed on VRBO. It's better to go to Keuka Lake State park about 2-3 miles ago where they have marked trails

Grouse Haven near Keuka Lake was the perfect cabin in the woods experience I was hoping for! A quiet away from it all location, but 15 minutes to town if you need! The cabin was exceptionally clean and the owner had it nice and toasty and the fireplace going when I arrived. The listing photos are very accurate - looked exactly as I expected base on the photos, from the cabin and rooms, to the property. Everything is provided: cookware, utensils, bath and bed linens - it was super easy for me to settle in from the moment I arrived. It was me, my dog, the birds, and nature. They have a great trail just across the road, dog loved it and we enjoyed it several times during the stay. I absolutely loved the porch - perfect for reading or relaxing in the sun. While Roku was available and I did watch a couple of movies at night, I enjoyed reading a book I had brought and there were puzzles (a favorite of mine) to pass the time. It was wonderful to disconnect from the world for a few days and I intend to repeat the adventure! The owner was very responsive and did a quick check-in with me via text to make sure all was well. If you are looking for a place to get away and enjoy what nature has to offer, this is the cabin. Felt like home for a few days.

We wanted to have a disconnected weekend in a cabin and got exactly what we were looking for. Everything worked well. The signage near the road made it easy to find and the maple syrup was great.

Our second stay was every part as magical as the first. We cannot wait to return again.

No better place to go to unwind and get away from the madness of daily life. I live just staring out in the woods and always so cozy in the house!

Thoroughly enjoyed our winter get away stay at Grouse Haven. Clean, quaint and very peaceful. Everything was perfect.

Perfect location. While close to local wineries we decided to just relax at the cabin. Plenty of games, puzzles, and DVDs. Smart tv available for streaming. Lots of natural light with the windows. Also with all of the windows we had lots of entertainment with bird watching. Bird seed was available at the cabin to help attract a variety of birds. Able to see a couple of deer walk up the driveway at dusk. Cabin was very clean and warm, cozy is a great descriptor. Had all of the amenities you would want. Hope to go back but next time in warmer weather so we can enjoy outside adventures. Porch was sizable for gatherings with a large table. There was a firepit just outside. Phyllis was very responsive and even checked to make sure we made it to the cabin.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.

A beautiful property with character and charm. It was a perfect start to our holiday. My two pups loved running around in the snow cover forest. We were able to see a few deer walking through the woods. We got a little lost at the beginning due to GPS listing the property on the wrong side of the road but a quick call to the amazing host we were able to find it no problemable to find it

Host communicated as needed--cabin was nice and private but was VERY disappointed as it was advertised on beach but was actually in the woods! Keuka park nearby has beach area but cabin is NOT on beach. Also water pressure was horrible--very low--hard to wash dishes and drip showers are difficult. The cabin was clean and well stocked with little extras you might need. Knew we were traveling off/low season but it was still hard to find things to do. Still nice place to stay ...

Absolutely fabulous stay! The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything I needed. Was looking for a place I could be alone, walk some trails and let my dog wander. I got all that and more!

This was our 2nd time staying at this wonderful property It you are looking for privacy tranquility with all home conveniences, then this is the absolute best. We look forward to our return . I would love to see this area in the snowy winter months. It must be right out of a hallmark movie

Nice property. Was a little difficult to find at first, especially in the dark as the tall thin flag sort of hid among the trees. Beds were comfortable and all supplies needed were available.

We came to area for a competition and decided to make a weekend. Grouse Haven was perfect! Beautiful grounds and great cabin! It was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will stay again!
