We had a great stay at Canyon Wren. The property was well maintained, clean, and warm! We would be happy to return in the future. Thank you!

Was a great location just right for our large family. The only issue we had was that the cabin seem to be infested with flies. They were up high, so they didn’t bother us terribly much, except in the children sleeping area. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we would come back.

The cabin was simple and cozy. We really enjoyed it. Perfect for the 8 of us. We liked how close it was to Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore. We would stay here again!

Our cabin was just as advertised. It wasn't fancy but it was everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Lovely location. There were a lot of dead flies in the cabin, though (it is on a ranch). Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience.

I've stayed at this ranch 3 times now and always a great experience! We enjoyed this ranch with extended family and came back on a girl trip! The Ranch is peaceful, watching the morning sunrise, sipping coffee and watching the horses come up from pasture. Many memories made here and would come back again and again!

Cute property. A few things needed repair including a kitchen drawer that was loose, a bathroom sink cold water wasn't working, a plunger wasn't draining, and back sliding door would not lock. On the plus side, the property manager, Michelle, was VERY responsive in responding and making arrangements for repairs. Could use storage or shelves in loft and bedroom (no place to put your suitcase), and same under bathroom vanity. Nice quiet location for our last minute trip. Thanks.

Nice cabin, but only gave it a 3 for a few reasons. When we arrived there was no heat on anywhere in the cabin, it was 45 degrees inside and 15 degrees outside. It took a LONG time to heat, we were cold most of the first night. If it’s winter in SD, you leave the heat on. The heater in the bedroom wasn’t working and I contacted management and someone did come and fix it thankfully. The other reason is because we couldn’t use the bed in the couch because it had dirty sheets and dog hair all over it, absolutely gross. We had one child that had to sleep on the couch instead of the bed because of this. Also, the silverware drawer is broke and falls back every time you try to open it, had a child that caught his finger in it the first time he opened it, needs fixed. It was nice but the housekeeping could be improved. Also, it needs Kleenexes and coffee filters.

Very clean, I would stay again. A couple things that could be improved, outside lighting, bed comfort. The beds were hard, and there was no outside street lights, the one at the end of the road was burnt out. Its great for star gazing. ?

We enjoyed the location as a great central point for all the Black Hills sites. The cabin was a nice size for our family of four, with beautiful surroundings. It was clean with comfortable beds and furniture. We would stay here again if returning to the Black Hills.
