Wautoma Lake House!

The lake was the perfect size for my four teens to enjoy kayaking. It was big enough for the six of us and could have comfortably accommodated even more. The host communicated clearly and provided everything we needed.

We were very happy with the Lakehouse! Clean, well maintained and updated house! We particularly enjoyed the easy access to a quiet lake and the chance to go kayaking every day! No complaints at all — just great!!

Location was excellent. Home was spacious and accommodating. Enjoyed the elevated deck to look at the calming lake and watch the wildlife.

Great place to stay, the lake was amazing tons of fish and a nice shallow area right on the property for the kids to play in. Had a blast using the kayak’s. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation, Eric provides all the necessary equipment for your stay. A

There was a problem with the internet when we arrived. We contacted Eric and he called right away to get it fixed. The stay was very relaxing. The house had everything that was needed. I would recommend this place and can't wait to go back again

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin on the water with great woodland views and reasonably priced, this is the place for you. We love how the property included so many water toys, like kayaks, a boat, extra fishing poles, life vests, games, etc. The water was a little low when we were there, but the little sandy area by the dock was perfect for our 5 year old to splash and play in. My 12 year old daughter had a great time fishing off the dock and on the boat. The lake seemed a bit overfished, and we were only able to catch small fish to be released. We may have had better luck in the nearby, larger lake, which the owner provided great instructions on how to access from the property. The owner was great at communicating back with us when we had any questions. I deducted a star only for the cleanliness. There was dog hair and cobwebs inside the house, but everything else seemed pretty clean. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the view of the lake.

Had a great time with a few friends over our 4-night stay. Very quiet and relaxing with tons of birds in the air and plenty of fish in the private lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful, quickly taking care of an issue that came up durning our stay. We siuld definitley stay here again.

Wanted something close to town but still secluded and this fit the bill perfectly! Beautiful location and everything was extremely clean and well kept. Great deck and outdoor area. Would love to bring the family back during the summer and try out the kayaks!

Great property, close to Nordic ski area. Perfect for our family, including the furry ones. Would love to visit when the lake is not frozen. Beautiful views even when snowy and icy.

Great stay for annual ice fishing trip. Had some water issues with the cold and heat turned off when we arrived, however the owner was very responsive and had everything fixed quickly and made it right. Great stay, trip and property.

Spent 3 nights at this property with my wife and dog. Very peaceful and secluded feeling, while still being close to essentials. Cabin was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Would absolutely book here again.

Family and dogs stayed for just over a week! It was great for everyone! Our dogs loved water and this spot was perfect for them - extremely quiet and peaceful here! We had everything we needed and more! Definitely going back!

Grandkids loved kayaking

Great location for a weekend with friends. House exceeded expectations. Deck is an amazing spot with a nice view. 8 of us (50+ men) stayed and were very comfortable. Lake is stocked. We were on the lake all day. Row boat and kayaks were put to good use. Caught bluegill, crappie and largemouth bass. Plenty of parking space. Perfect spot for our annual trip. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and well equipped. The spacious bedroom in the basement was great for the grandkids. The beach and swimming area was fun for the kids. We made good use of the kayaks and the grandkids caught lots of panfish.

I have 4 sons and their families (4 kids, 5-13 years of age). The cottage was perfect and roomie enough for our family of 13. Lake view was perfect. Kayaking was a huge hit. So glad they were part of the property perks. Fire pit area was also spacious and wonderful. Great memories were made.
