Only caveat was that we expected three bedrooms and there were two. The third was a room with a foldout couch and a higher-quality air mattress, no closet or storage for clothes, and a sliding screen for privacy. Also, two twin beds were in a three-season porch that was less secure. That inconvenience was superceded by the marvelous kitchen and eating area and the expansive, comfortable deck overlooking the lake. One improvement that several in our party suggested was brighter lighting in the living room. Overall, all nine of us had a rewarding week swimming, fishing, hiking Blueberry Hill, and visiting the nearby museum.

6 adults stayed to enjoy fishing on Sag and not worry about getting day use motor permits. it was a great cabin that has been updated. amazing views from the porch. The host, Jessica, was very helpful and responsive. Instructions on the cabin need to be updated. You do not need to take your garbage with you as listed. This was a bit of a shock because our car was loaded full and we would not have had room. Again Jessica took care of it without any issues. Just a reminder that if you are going to fish and be exempt from the motor permit, you need to stop at the Grand Marias Ranger station before helping to the cabin. Great place and would definitely stay there again.

This beautiful home is on a hill overlooking the lake with easy access down to the dock for canoeing and fishing. It was a perfect place for our family vacation.

The property and location is simply amazing. My family and friends truly enjoyed the stay. It was a great launching point for my Sons first BWCA trip and provided a great place for daily entertaining. I fully expect to make another reservation. Thank you for the hospitality.

Had a low key weekend here with 10 of my best friends and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The cabin is beautiful and has an amazing view. Can be a bit crammed at the max group size but in addition to the beds upstairs, there are comfortable pullout couches and cots and plenty of space! Highly recommend swimming off the dock or bringing bags/cornhole and playing on the spacious deck.

Becca and Robert's top of the trail cabin was the perfect mix of rustic views and modern comforts. The cabin sits atop a hill outlooking a lake which the pictures on the website don't do justice. The location was perfect for six professionals to disconnect from their work and just enjoy a weekend together. The directions are very clear for how to arrive to the cabin though it is a bit of a trek to approach which is no fault of the owners. Becca was very responsive to questions and issues that arose during out stay and they left clear, simple instructions for a no contact check out from the property. This is an excellent location for a group of friends or a pair of couples to visit and get away for however long they need.
