Friendly welcoming neighbors, beautiful and clean environment. The beds were super comfortable and the location was amazing. What more could you ask for. We loved it!
This is a wonderful place to get away - which we did for 5 days right before thanksgiving. We stayed with our two adult children in this lovely cabin which is light (skylights), super clean and has lots of nice touches. Reading from the sunroom in the front of the house was stunning, and we utilized both the wood fireplace in the house and the firepit overlooking the bay to build memories. Sunsets from the hot tub were spectacular, and the number of games and puzzles provided were well used. We will be back. Thank you so much.
We had a lovely visit to Red Point in October. The house is just as pictured-cute and clean. Sue was a lovely host, quick to reply and provided everything from a stick of butter and condiments, a full kitchen to cook like a chef and plenty of firewood, games, towels and detergent. She even provided an oyster knife quickly to us when asked if there was one at the house. While it was just my husband and me, I couldn’t see more than another couple or a few kids staying, though it sleeps 6. Two rooms do have skylights so keep that in mind for sleeping. The cottages are close together but their area of land overlooking the bluffs across a tiny unpaved road really makes the property. There are chairs and a firepit for taking in the beautiful sunsets. Just a short walk, not even two cottages down, there is a common area with steps leading down to the water. The long dock was pulled in for the winter but we still fished from the dock that remained. You can also walk to the beach access down the road, which is probably great for the summer. The wood burning fireplace and star gazing from the hot tub were perfect for our nights and it’s a quiet community if you want to relax. We ventured to the Main Street of town a few times for lunch or dinner, fancy donuts and a take out Italian market. Other retail is not much further for a groceries, etc.. Sarge’s Bait shop was very informative and an easy hike to the lighthouse was great for a beautiful afternoon. A great stay!
The house was exactly as described. Despite Ophelia making an unwelcome appearance the house was cozy and clean. We saw the most stunning sunset. Sue was great to work with.
Loved our stay!
When we had to attend a wedding nearby, We booked this cabin for the weekend. It was a great “base of operations” for our family to attend the activities. Although it mostly rained that weekend, we were still able to admire the bay views from the living room and deck when it dried out. The kitchen is well-stocked and the entire cabin is beautifully decorated. We will be back!
A lovely place to stay. A thoughtfully renovated home is now a delightful cabin. The setting looks westerly with beautiful sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay, most enjoyed while sitting in the hot tub. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were easily able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The wood burning fireplace was used every night with ample wood supplied. Owners are very attentive and responsive. Highly recommend.
It's been 2 years since we've all been under one roof and this house helped us spend some much needed quiet time with our family reconnecting and enjoying each other. While small, this house has everything you need and a place for it. Meticulously maintained, this is the perfect getaway for 2 or 6 with the most breathtaking sunsets!
Stunning location and views, nice amenities, stylish, clean and well kept property. We had a lovely time, especially enjoyed the fire pit, views of the water, watching Osprey and Bald Eagles swoop by. It was private and serene. Plenty of convenient grocery options nearby. Cute town. We plan to come back!
This cottage epitomizes what life on the water should be. The views of the Bay cannot be beat, and the decor/finishings in the home immediately transport you to a state of relaxation. Our 2 older boys loved sleeping and hanging out in the loft area. We felt truly cared for as guests, from the personalized soaps and shampoos in the bathroom, to the bookshelves stocked with books/magazines, and the binoculars for wildlife watching. I enjoyed my morning coffee each day, watching the hummingbirds at their feeder. The proximity to the pier is also a huge bonus, especially when traveling with kids/gear. We were able to swim each day, and then come back up to the home to enjoy the hot tub and the most beautiful views of the sunset. We wholeheartedly would love to return to this beautiful property! Sue is a fantastic host!
We had such an amazing getaway and Sue’s beautiful house! We will definitely be renting this place again!
This house was perfect for our family of 4. The house decor was very cute! You can tell it is very well maintained. We marveled at all of the space-saving ideas these owners have come up with to make the most of the small house. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and making s'mores on the fire pit. The hosts also had several board games we enjoyed. We also liked walking to the little community beach. The owner was extremely responsive when I reached out to ask a question. We hope to stay here again some day!
Super clean, quaint, and well-appointed cottage with excellent views. Thanks for a great stay!
Beautiful little beach community, amazing views, friendly neighbors and beach access within walking distance. The house was exactly what we needed. We loved the outdoor shower and hottub to relax in after a long day at the beach. Sue was a great host and we look forward to coming back
More than I expected. Beautifully set in the woods with spaces to appreciate the wildlife of the sea and sky. Close to hiking, biking and kayaking. Comfortable cabin amenities of jacuzzi, air conditioning and delightful beds ward off the fatigue of the days adventures. Antiquing and local restaurants in town were a nice compliment. Great time with family. Would return in a heartbeat.
