Walk to Parkway, 2 Bedroom Cabin in Big Bear Resort, Sleeps 6, Hot Tub / 2 Pools

Cabin was fine. The email was not clear with check in instructions I had to contact the property owner in order to get code for door. Thankfully there was a binder in the cabin with check out instructions.

Clean and great location.

Beautiful cabin!!! Great location. The only issue we had was the smell of marijuana on 2 separate days but was from an outside area. It was so strong in the 1st level like someone was on our patio smoking. Otherwise, fabulous!!

Very comfortable and hot tub was nice though we were unable to use it on the first night because it took a long time to heat up. Really enjoyed our stay!

Very lovely property and the location is perfect.

Amazing location. It feels like you’re off in the mountains, away from anything, all while being less than 10 minutes away from everything. The host was responsive to all inquiries. The bedrooms separated between the upper loft and the lower level were great for our group. The hot tub and laundry in unit were amazing. We took advantage of both. It was a great stay at and incredibly reasonable price, especially considering it was Memorial Day weekend. The absolute best is that the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Many of these short term rentals leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the mattress quality. But not at Q’s cabin. We will definitely rent here again!

The Location was perfect for our stay as we were attending the Smokey Mountain Jubilee. Our host checked on us to see if we needed anything, which I thought was very thoughtful and kind!

Really appreciated the spaciousness of this cabin and how it was laid out. I was here for a workshop and conference and it really accommodated the need to have time alone to meditate on what we have learned.

We So Enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was Very Clean and Spacious and the kitchen was well stocked! It was also nice to have an extra living area and mini kitchenette downstairs! Had lots of extra amenities! The Hot Tub was a hit with my grandkids! The on site staff Ms. Kathryne was Very Friendly and came by late one night because my Grandkids had locked our bedroom door and she was there within 5 minutes to get it opened!! She even gave us tips and places to go within the community that we would enjoy! We would Definitely Stay here again! A 10 out of 10!!

Kathryne the Host has an excuse for everything as you can tell by reading other reviews, so get ready for her excuses. I will provide pictures. First off, the listing says Walk to Parkway, there is no way this is a walk to the Parkway unless you are a marathon walker. This property sits on a steep hill and is about 1.5 miles to the Parkway. It may sleep 7, but good luck fitting more than 4 people in the living room. The outdoor pool was GREEN. This is a duplex, so the picture is misleading. The refrigerator did not work an we were told to put ice in it to keep things cold. We arrive on Saturday and she said she would get someone there Monday sometime. SO BRING A COOLER! The railing on the porch that is probably 20 feet up was missing some rails, very dangerous. The couch was so wore out the coloring is faded off the head rest. The Chair in the basement is filthy. The fold out beds had food in them, so obviously they haven't been cleaned or the sheets changed. The curtains have black filth on them. The washing machine had mold in it where you put your detergent. The door lock going outside is about to fall off. The stopper for the nasty jacuzzi tub is broken so no using it. The place has not been cleaned. It is falling apart and they do not take care of the property. To top it all off we found a dead roach under the fold out bed, we were given a REFUND and VRBO gladly moved us to a Lodge on the Parkway. I'm sure Kathryne will have some kind of excuse.

Nice cabin, parking was tight for 2 vehicles and the towels smelled so bad we couldn’t use them. We had to dry off on a shirt and hand towel I brought from home. The door going out to the hot tub stuck so bad we was afraid to open but finally got it open. The downstairs tv would not work at all.

My 11-year-old grandson lives in Oregon he is the only grandchild on both sides of the family. Him his other grandmother (Grammy) and I (Nana) had a wonderful wonderful week spoiling him. Perfect place to stay wonderful people to work with.

The property was conveniently located. The pool was right across the street, which was great with the heat. Three floors which makes for nice private spaces but a lot of stairs.

This cabin was so charming and conveniently located.It was so easy to get to all the attractions in the area.The cabin itself was so cozy and clean. It was located directly across from the resort pool and hot tub. The cabin also had beautiful outdoor space that was lovely for enjoying a coffee while taking in views. I give this cabin a 10!!

We enjoyed our stay in Pigeon Forge. The cabin is in a great location! Close to all the attractions, grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. This cabin is right across from the outside pool. Perfect location! We hope to book this cabin again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures really do not do it justice. Amazing little cabin. Especially if you have kids. My two boys loved having the lower level to themselves. Will definitely rent again next year!

These cabins are located right near main attractions at Pigeon Forge which was great with all the holiday traffic that was there over Memorial weekend. The house was adequate for my husband and I and our children ages 5-13. The house was very clean which I always appreciate. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, and game room at the Big Bear main condo building. It was nice to have the indoor option as the weather was not super nice during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Pigeon Forge. This is our second stay in this cabin. The cabin is convenient to attractions and not far from Gatlinburg. The property is well maintained and very clean. Very comfortable. Check in/ Check out is very easy. We will be back!

Close to everything and the cabin was in a great location and the indoor pool and on-site hot tub were perfect :) There is only parking for 1 vehicle which made it hard for my daughter to park but that was easily worked out. We will definently stay next year

The cabin was very cute and close to downtown. All the beds were uncomfortable(pull out beds from couches) especially one in front room. Pool and hottub were ok but small.

I would highly recommend this cabin. Lots of space. Loved having 3 floors. Beds, pillows and linens extremely comfortable. Excellent location. Enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. Kathryne is an excellent Host.

We had some communication problems in the very beginning, with receiving our check in information-but once she sent me a screenshot of what VRBO sent her it was clear we weren’t supposed to receive it until a couple days after she thought. Then when we arrived the code we were given didn’t work to enter the home, but she was quick to fix the problem by giving us a new code. The space was perfect for us. The kids took over the basement and loved the feeling of being separate from us parents. We have three kids, so we needed to use all of the bedding. There was mouse poop on two of the blankets, which I understand can happen, but with needing to use all of it, it was gross. The upper room balcony was not safe. The wood was rotting and the rail was not sturdy. I would stay there again, I just couldn’t quite give it 5 stars…

We fell in love with this property. The owner had amazing communication responses with me. The area of the cabin was great and we really enjoyed the indoor pool.

We have not actually stayed at the cabin yet. We had to reschedule due to personal reasons. The host, Kathryne has been absolutely wonderful in accommodating our needs.

Owner was great to deal with. Cabin was well stocked with what we needed. The downstairs suite was awesome for my daughter & her family (teething baby) and gave us all some privacy. Cabin is close to so many things to do. Convenient, cozy, and the neighborhood was a quiet retreat. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We stayed here four 4 nights for our annual pre thanksgiving trip to Pigeon Forge. This cabin ticked all the boxes for us. The three floors was a bonus as the 2 older kids had their private space downstairs and we parents had our private space upstairs. We had a lot of fun using the amenities such as hot tib, swimming pool, and games room, all working exactly as advertized. The host Kathryn was amazing at contacting to make sure we had all we needed. The location was absolutely stellar too, right off the Pigeon Forge parkway, a Kroger 2 minutes away, no scary steep hills to drive, and Dollywood is only a short 10 minute drive away. We had something to do the whole time, and a super comfortable cabin to relax in during down times. We will definitely be looking here again for future visits and happily will recommend to family and friends. Easiest 5 stars I've ever given.

The owner was very responsive to my call & brought the item needed. The description of the cabin did not indicate that the main level of the cabin did not have a bedroom or full bath. The only showers were either upstairs or in the basement which would be my only complaint.

Property was just as described. It was in a great location and easy access to the parkway. Had everything we needed in the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.
