Walk Everywhere | Lake, Strip & Wineries

This place is a shack, in fact we called it the shed. The porch boards on one side sink when you walk, bowed ceilings, the shower is so small there is no way a larger person could fit in there. Im 5'4 and i could barely lift my legs in there to shave them. I sent a text to the person that oversees it to see if we could leave a day early because of the condition, but received no response. We do most stay at low end places when we go away, but nothing compares to this one. We didnt expect alot, but this was aweful!! Thank goodness the weather was nice and we could get out of there as much as possible.

The only good part of this property is location! It was clean BUT.... if you have back issues DON'T STAY HERE. The bed is HORRIBLE!!! also the shower is so tiny you can't move. I am 5'7 and 142 lbs.

Very rustic little cabin.

Property was very convenient to all attractions. Just want to point out that the shower in the bathroom is very small...i believe it was a shower moreso that is used in a camper. The only other issue was the mattress was super soft(but thats a personal preference)and the cottage leaned to where your feet were higher than your head when you laid in bed. It was very clean and well stocked. The firepit and seating was really nice. Screened in porch was great to sit in. Manager was super prompt with answering my questions and had a minor issue with the tv...he sent somebody very quickly to resolve the issue.

We were very pleased with our cabin! Thank you very much for the great weekend to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely stay here again!

Cute little cottage. All kitchen utensils, pots, pans are included. I loved sitting on the covered porch swing listening to the bars music and reading my book. Would definitely stay again.

This was out first trip to GOTL. Our cottage was cute, comfy and perfect. We are already planning to come next year for a longer visit at same place. The only thing, the air conditioner, had it been warmer it would have been insufficient. That should be upgraded. Highly recommend this place

Husband had to sit on the floor most of the time. Those chairs were not comfortable at all. I sat on the bed. We also had a difficult time sleeping.

Small yet perfect to recharge and explore the area. Which has lots to do from bars, wineries, small towns, state park, and a short walk to the community park to watch the sunset! When we visited they had a great band playing as the sun set...it was so fun!

Friday Sat. trip to GOTL. Great weather and lots of fun. Our cottage was cozy and clean. Great Place to stay for a few days.

Needs a little tlc but definitely clean and comfortable. Don't judge the book by its cover.

This has been by far the best vacation I have been on in a very long time. The cottage was amazing.They had everything we needed there. It brought my friendship closer we had. Wonderful neighbors.. this would definitely be a place where I would go again. I definitely give this ten stars.

Overall the stay was very good. Keyless entry was really nice. Location is great to walk the strip, and the bar next door with bands playing you can hear from cottage and enjoy, but does play later into the night. Didn’t keep us up though. Had everything we needed. Definitely a tight shower. Only complaints were the pillows could be newer and/or cleaner. Screens on porch falling in places. And windows all seem to be unable to open except kitchen window which unfortunately would no longer lock and could be opened easily from outside. Messaged owner and there was quick reply to let his maintenance team fix that, just wasn’t during our quick stay. With that being said, area feels completely safe and wasn’t really concerned but just would be nice to fully lock the cottage when not there. Would definitely stay again.

No pics to show what you'll see when you first pull ups, speaking of the rear side of the unit. Almost took a loss on money and pulled away but checked it out and was happy. The good old saying don't judge a book by its cover goes very well with this property. Biggest complaint i have was the shower, very small. I'm 5'10 205lbs worth an active build and it was hard to turn around in shower without bumping into knobs or knocking soap/ shampoo off shelves

A cozy cottage , a well stocked kitchenette, a comfy queen bed soft pillow top, close to the lake, many venues within walking distanceCorrespondence was quick when needed, Overall a place worth staying at again in the future

It was a perfect little house for me an my 9 year old to stay in for the weekend of her dance competition!

Cottage was a perfect size for what we needed. Location was great. Communication was easy with the property owner. Would stay there again.
