Stayed Mar 14, 2025We loved staying in this charming cabin. It’s in a beautiful location and close to everything we wanted to visit. Arion was welcoming and responded quickly if we had questions. Our kids loved playing in the little nook upstairs. The fireplace was perfect after some chilly days on the hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025We had the best time @ the Chalet Alpine! So clean, cozy & relaxing. Close enough to sking, restaurants, Lowes foods but still secluded enough to be an authentic cabin experience. Loved being within the Hound's Ear Club community, we got ice and snow on check-out day and heard the roads getting salted and cleared bright and early! Games, well stocked, nice towels and comfy furniture. The host were super nice and available for questions - another awesome perk! Our fam of 5 give it a big thumbs up!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024I loved my stay at Chalet Alpine. AFrame is tucked in the woods/trees and cozy. Lightning in chalet is darker than marketing photos but inviting. Owner checked in with me several times during my stay which was appreciated.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Location, location, location! This property is in the heart of all the attractions in the Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk area. Gated community provides peace of mind and security. We enjoyed our visit and the amenities provided. The directions and check-in process were a breeze. The security team at the gate were always courteous and delightful. The kitchen is well equiped and the furnishings were comfortable and quality. The only negatives are the 20 irregular stone steps to get to the Chalet from the parking area. There is no handrail so some of us more seasoned adults may need a helping hand. The path is well lite at night which makes a big difference. The 1st floor primary suite is very comfortable, but space is very limited. It's an older Chalet and part of the charm is the rustic nature of the materials and space. Great place that adds to the overall experience of being in the mountains.

Stayed Apr 11, 2024My adult daughter and I enjoyed a weekend of rest and relaxation together in this cozy cabin. The first half of the weekend was rainy, windy and cold, but we still enjoyed exploring Boone, then coming back to the cabin to read and chat in front of the fireplace. The second half of the weekend was better weather and perfect for exploring Blowing Rock. The cabin is clean, comfortable, well-stocked and in a very safe neighborhood. This cabin is perfect for a friends' getaway or a family getaway.
