Uncle Pete`s Cabin ~ Rockhaven

Beautiful cabin with civil war era details, plus modern kitchen & bath and nice washer/dryer. Cozy Gas fireplace! Easy contactless check-in and out. Amazing hosts thought of everything! All the essentials to get you started, including fresh eggs from the resident chickens! We enjoyed the deck and porch overlooking pond and horses in pasture. Grill on deck and a pond-side firepit with chairs. Wish we had more time in this peaceful, private, romantic place! In the country but still close to town for anything you need. And less than 30 easy mins to Nashville. Nice to get away from the crowds for awhile! We’ll be back!

I absolutely loved it. For being in the country I didn’t see a spider which I am highly allergic or any critters. The fresh eggs were so delicious made me miss growing up on a farm.

The strive for excellence is evident in every detail. I can’t imagine the labor of love it took to bring this cabin into the modern era without sacrificing its true being. Uncle Pete would be proud! Moreover: The pastures, chickens, deer, horses, Fountain pond with geese, frogs and turtles - the most amazing firefly show we’ve seen in a long time. Outstanding!! Hats off to the Typers for creating such a remarkable experience. Simple lodging details did not go unnoticed either. Immaculately clean. Equipped kitchen, toiletries, a CLEAN Bar BQ grill! Wow, that was refreshing for sure! Excellence!! Thank you for providing us the best stay we’ve ever had — and we’ve been doing this a long time through VRBO, ABB & Cash rentals. You’re the best ever!!

Went for NASCAR weekend and really enjoyed the stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Great views of the horses and chickens (they even left us some fresh eggs). Very clean, quiet, close to a lot.

We stayed for a week and the place is cozy and warm. It's a great place to have some r&r and just unwind! Close to all Nashville attractions. Great places around to eat too! We highly recommend A!

Beautiful place. Perfect for 2. Spent the mornings on the deck or front porch with views of the fountain and horses. Had everything we needed and the fresh eggs were a bonus. Will stay here again.

Everything about this place is breath taking! I went with my wife and two dogs and it couldn’t have been more relaxing. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and unwind. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at Rockhaven Cabins in Mt. Juliet TN. We were there 10 years ago. It was great to get back there.

The property was very clean and nice. Cabin was perfect as well as location. Just a short drive to Nashville but far enough away to have privacy on our stay.

The perfect and quiet ending to our busy days in Nashville.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The cabin was even more than we expected, land for the dogs to run an exercise and so much privacy and tranquility.

Beautiful scenery as you pull into the driveway- everything from seeing the horses roaming to the coziness of the cabin was perfect. Close enough to Nashville if you’re in the mood for “city” but being at Rockhaven gives you the perfect calm, quiet country escape if you live city life every day. We highly recommend staying here. Gordon & Bonnie are amazing as well! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful area, great property.

My wife and I stayed at this location from May 22 to May 28. I can't think of enough good things to say about our experience. The cabin was perfect for us and was very comfortable. The amenities provided were excellent. The total environment was very relaxing and quiet. Even the chicken were accommodating...providing fresh eggs. We will definitely look for this accommodation the next time we are in the Nashville area.
