My family loved this location. We spent all of the time that we were at the cabins sitting on the porch overlooking the river. It was the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying nature!

Paradise on the river! Fantastic views & wild life all around! We hated to leave. Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabins.

There was a small amount of hair in the shower of the main bedroom in the first cabin. I found the bathroom to be quite cold with no available heat source. Overall though, We (9 adults), had a great time.

I planned a trip for our whole family. It was very important for my parents to have a quiet space, they are in their 80’s. Having two cabins was perfect. We had an amazing time and plan to go back. The only issue we had were the beds. They were a bit hard for my sleeping. Overall the place, view and whole area was so perfect that I can get over the hard beds. We stayed outside on the decks and area around the cabins most of the time. Large fire pit, gazebo and hot tub were just amazing. This is a very special place. Wish it was mine. Host was wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful river side retreat. Loved it!!

This property was overall a great value for a large group! Check-in was simple and smooth, and the checkout process was minimal which we appreciated! We enjoyed the space to spread out, and the outdoor river views were so nice, along with the multiple areas to enjoy the outdoors. The hot tub was a major added touch and was very clean! While the kitchen spaces are small, they are well stocked and even had a crock pot for use! The host was kind enough to allow us to check in a hour early which was much appreciated. The two houses worked great for our multi-family reunion and we would likely come back! Our only big downfall was we did find the property to be covered in ladybugs throughout the home. Generally a few ladybugs wouldn't be much of a concern, but they were everywhere, to the extent we even found some in the beds, bedrooms and bathrooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at the twin cabins! It was so nice sitting on the balconies directly overlooking the river. The kitchens were well equipped and everything was just as it appears in the listing. It was perfect for our family get together.

Host was responsive and the cabins and grounds were perfect for our family getaway!

The area is beautiful and the views are spectacular; very private! We basically lived on the deck overlooking the river or in the main room enjoying the fireplace! The home was clean and the check-in and out was easy. Amy quickly responded to any questions.

Amazing cabin absolutely beautiful, jacuzzi was amazing and overall wonderful and peaceful. So many amenities to do around the area as well and host was very communicative, will definitely book again in the near future.

Our family vacation was a huge hit this year, because everyone loved this property. It is exactly as pictured. It is beautiful, from being able to hear the river, swimming, tubing, and all the wildlife to spending quality time with family with very little TV. Amy was such a great host and it’s so easy to communicate with about check in and other details. If you haven’t visited the Ocoee river, it is something to experience. Thank you, Amy!

Overall was a beautiful place, comfortable beds, amazing view. Gazebos were not the cleanest but overall, relaxing.

Our family, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful week at these cabins on the river. The cabins, location and the grounds surpassed our expectations. Being right on the river is so peaceful and serene but there was also so much for the kids to do. They enjoyed fishing, floating down the river and kayaking. It was a great time and we will definitely return!

We liked being ableb to sit outside to see all the animals and listening to the water go by.

Cabins were very comfortable and clean. Lots to see and the river is right by your feet. Parking is not steep like others around the area with plenty of room for 4-5 cars. Amy was also great amwith communication and provide exciting places to visit. Overall wonderful experience to be out there with family and friends.

The houses, river and outdoor space were amazing. We want to come back. Highly recommend!

Everything about our stay was just as described in the listing. Amy was an amazing host and very responsive to any questions we had. The house is at the end of a dead end road and falls right at the bend of the river. The sounds are something I wish I could have bottled up and brought home. So relaxing. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It’s tucked away right on the river as the pictures portray, which is beautiful, but if you do not handle winding, mountain roads well, you might want to rethink this location. It would be hard to pass it up though as it is incredible just as listed. The owner was easy to communicate with and attentive to details.

The pictures don’t do the views justice. Beautiful property with a ton of space inside and out. 10/10 recommend. Host was very nice and responsive before and during the stay.

Our large family was able to comfortably stay in the beautiful twin cabins and enjoy our beautiful surroundings!!! We will definitely visit again!!!

There were 14 of us staying for a family weekend. Our first visit to Elijay. The twin cabins were perfect for us - great communication with the Owner, easy checkin, clean cabins, well stocked for a weekend stay, beautiful inside and out.

Our family enjoyed this property - a memorable time. We fished and watched the deer and beavers on the river. Houses had everything we needed. Communication with Amy was great.

Our son was getting married at Engelheim Vineyard on Saturday. We had a group of 14 which needed A place to relax, celebrate, and close enough to the venue and downtown Elijay for easy acceS to groceries, restaurants, Walmart and other last minute needs. The property by the river was amazing! Everyone who stayed there said the views were breathtaking. The two homes in close proximity allowed privacy while also being able to socialize as well. The cabins had all the necessities to cook and additional things such as spices, detergent, ziplock bags, shampoos and body washes. We’ve stayed in numerous VRBOs and these owners thought of everything. One thing needed in the future would be irons as we all had to iron clothes for upcoming wedding. Additionally, areas of improvement include the gazebo that has the bat and pool table. It is in very bad shape and would suggest update or making additional seating areas to enjoy the breathtaking views. My husband had to use the blower (that was in property) to remove the leaves and debris on the wood walkway to the gazebo prior to our guest arriving as it looked like the cleaners hadn’t even looked at the area beside the gazebo. No big deal but would recommend letting cleaners know outside area wasn’t fully ready for visitors. Overall, we loved our stay and will be returning with famiky to the same property. Price was reasonable for all this property had to offer. We really enjoyed the space and had ample parking for family and friends.
