Tranquil Creekside Cottage in the Heart of the Beautiful Black Hills

Well appointed cabin from bedding to kitchen. It was so cozy just as the weather was turning. The hosts were fabulous about helping with a couple of questions we had! Highly recommend these hosts and this location.

Its a very nice home with a nice view. The younger children were super excited to sleep in the loft. The home has a nice layout for the whole family to hang out. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful weekend getaway!

Cabin was as listed, comfortable, clean and very spacious (2 couples). Very close to Mt Rushmore, Custer, Wind Cave and the hot tub was a pleasure to sit in after a full day of sightseeing. Bridget let us know we could check in early since cleaners were done and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend this cabin for a visit to the Black Hills.

Great cabin. Clean, tons of room, and centrally located to Mount Rushmore, Custer Park, Crazyhorse Memorial and Hill city’s shops and dinning. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice place overall, if you can accept living with 90s entertainment options. WiFi is shared with the other 6 cabins, and is abysmally slow. You will not be able to stream or work remotely. The master bedroom TV is linked to the living room, so you will have to watch the same channel as what is being viewed there (we never watched anything-- way too complicated to figure out, and I am a software architect). This wouldn't be so bad if the DVD remote batteries had a charge, but they did not (both DVD players had this problem, and were powered by coincell batteries). Other than that, it is a pretty nice cabin

Spacious with beautiful 'cabin' touches. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was clean and ready for us!The owners were responsive, even on a Sunday! Location was fantastic for many great adventures - Sylvan Lake, Needles Hwy, Monuments and the Mammoth Hot Springs site- amazing spot!

Had a great stay! Cabin location and amenities are perfect. Close to all the top attractions the Black Hills have to offer. Close to everything with hardware store and food market less than a mile away in Hill City. Back porch faces mountain and a meadow where we watched several deer. Randy and Bridgette are wonderful hosts! Very responsive and even delivered us a pair of binoculars for the wildlife viewing when we forgot to pack ours. Only downside is the short driveway to the cabin is gravel which can be tricky on a motorcycle. Otherwise, wonderful stay and would definitely reserve again!

We loved staying here. The property is excellent, the location is quiet but close to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and the other local attractions.

We just spent a wonderful week at the cabin with 5 adults and 2 kids. It was a perfect set up. The kitchen had everything you could imagine. The yard was great for the kids to run around, chase balls. Every morning and evening we could see deer in the distance. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

This was our first big vacation with my side of the family and we had a blast. The cabin was amazing and was perfect for us. There was plenty of space inside where you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. The kitchen was perfect for all of our breakfasts and lunches. We really liked the patio with the awesome view. My kids loved seeing all of the wildlife that would go by towards dusk. It was a awesome experience and one we will not forget!

We loved our stay! The house was clean and well maintained. The location was close to Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, and Needles Highway. Hill City was a nice town with a good selection of restaurants. The home itself was perfect for our family. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was a hit and the kids loved to watch the wildlife in the backyard.

I highly recommend this cabin in the hills! The location is so close to Sylvan Lake and the Needles Highway (a must visit for us every time) but still close enough to get back and forth to Spearfish Canyon for a hike. The cabin itself was spotless and the kitchen is stocked with any cooking pot/pan/gadget you could ever need. 10/10.

It was clean Location was easy to find little noise with it being Close to the road but over all nice place !

We were in Hill City for a wedding. The cabin was well stocked, quiet, and had ample parking and a hot tub. It was close enough to town to shop, but far enough out to be peaceful. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved it kitchen stocked with pans Mixer etc. the hot tub was nice and clean and beds comfortable. Also great location

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was a favorite with the adults and kids. Perfect home for multi-generation family vacation. The creek in the back and the property were beautiful. Close to Hill City and all the area has to offer. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin! We received a call on our way that we could access the property early. We were sight seeing on our way so we didn’t make it in early though. We stopped at the Walmart about 20 min away for groceries but there is a market right up the street from the cabin. It is exactly as described/pictures and very clean. It’s in a great location, near all the sights and activities. We enjoyed the grill and the hot tub too!!

This cabin is so nice and has all the comforts of a family home. Very good beds, well equipped kitchen, Clean linens. We had our daughter, son in law, and a 1 and 4 year old who had the upstairs to themselves. Barely heard them. Will consider returning!

We loved everything about this cabin!!! We walked in and were just amazed with how beautiful everything was!!! Everything was so clean, we had everything we needed. The kids would have been content just staying at our cabin and doing nothing else with the stream behind!! The kids had so much fun and are already planning our next trip. The cabin was so conveniently located to everything we wanted to do!! The hosts were 11/10!!! So helpful, accommodating, and checking in on us!!! Thankyou, Thankyou, Thsnkyou!!!

We were in the hills for a family reunion recently and this was the perfect cabin and location for us. There were 7 of us in the cabin and we had plenty of space to sleep, relax, eat and visit. I enjoyed coffee on the front and back porch each morning and was able to enjoy the creek running through the back of the property. My wife and I were in the downstairs bedroom so we didn’t take use the outdoor balcony upstairs but maybe next time. We had 2 cars and an ATV but there was ample space for additional cars if need be. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub because it was the middle of summer however it is on the back porch and has a great view of the creek and hills. Randy and Bridget were great hosts. They were great at communicating with us before and after the trip, they’ve kept the cabin extremely clean, well maintained and provided everything we could have needed. We’ve stayed at other places in the past but this will now be our go to cabin anytime we’re in the Black Hills.

We just had an amazing week long stay. The cottage was impeccably clean throughout and the kitchen was very well stocked. We travelled with my parents who are 73 and my kids who are 12. Kids loved the bed loft area and my parents loved the first floor bedroom and bath. The beds were very comfortable. The cottage accommodated all us perfectly. We enjoyed the wild life in the back yard in the morning and evening. Having the hot tub, grill, washer and dryer was a great plus. We loved the location in Hill City as it was centrally located to all of our outings. We rented a UTV one day and the cottage is located right across the way from China Gulch which is a main access to many trails. Would come back and stay again.

This was a great cabin to stay at. Are only 4 star was for the listing as it was listed as having 3 bedrooms but instead the third “bedroom” is an open loft area which for most won’t be a big deal but if you have younger kids that may be difficult. The balcony off the upstairs bedroom was awesome and became part of our morning routine each day. The owners texted us on day one and had great communication the entire stay. The cabin is easy to get in and out of and is in the middle of the big attractions so a quick drive to anywhere.
