Tranquil and scenic family friendly 2 bedroom Cottage & Farm Stay near York WA

A delightful host who showed us her rural property with enthusiasm. She was very welcoming. A beautiful setting with a lovely view. The property was very comfortable and well set up.

Fantastic farmstay in York. Hosts treated us like family. Extra warm blankets provided. Great fun using the fire pit and cooking marshmallows. BBQ was handy. Also a farm shop so be sure to check out and buy some of the home made jams and sauces! Will definitely be back.

The hosts are passionate about their animals, particularly the sheep and the property is full of birds. A good environment for young children to be introduced to farm animals such as sheep and a few birds. The house is clean and comfortable, with covered parking and the nearby town of York is interesting.

We had the best time on our stay! We went as a family of four and it was wonderful to share the experience together - our hosts Lizette & David are incredibly kind and generous with their time and knowledge. My son loved collecting the chicken eggs and feeding the sheep. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Very peaceful place to stay close to town sitting outside watching the stars was amazing. No traffic No people very enjoyable.

Hosts were wonderful , educated and included us with their livestock and pets. Showed us their wonderful arts and crafts and were genuinely lovely people.

We loved our stay. Our 1yo loved feeding the sheep and watching the chickens and guinea fowl. One of the cats spent a lot of time chasing him around for pats. The cottage was cozy and AC worked wonders considering the 42 degree heat outside. Hosts are lovely and friendly

The place was lovely but not to suitable for the elderly, which the owner picked on which was good Bit disappointing being so close the owner and she made herself a bit intrusive from the start and overstayed her welcome and our departure. Hanging around inside with us

It was terrific in every way

Wow!! Where do I start. My family had the best 3 days, days and nights of peace and tranquility, plus so much to do.David and Lizette open their farm to you. There are chickens to feed , eggs to collect and sheep to feed. So much for city kids to have a glimpse of country life.Night times are perfect with the outside fire burning and toasting marshmallows or there are lots of board games to play.York is 6 minutes away so plenty of opportunity to learn about the history of the town and a local IGA to pick up forgotten items.A great way to spend 3 days only 90 minutes from Perth.

Great one night escape and fun experience for my kids to interact with the farm animals. Accommodation well presented and suitable for all needs on a short stay. Close enough to York town centre for extra activities. Thanks to hosts Lizette and David for their generous hospitality.

Unbelievable place to stay. David and Lizette were so kind and accommodating. Nothing was too hard. Beautiful people. The kids absolutely loved the freedom of the property., feeding sheep and pats with Teesa the cat. Location is on point. Close to town but the quietness of no traffic around.Cant wait to come back and stay again .Thanks David and Lizette

Beautiful hosts, our toddler loved feeding the sheep. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. The cottage has everything that you need. We especially found the bed super comfortable. Really recommend this stay to anyone considering it.

Lovely farm stay . Feeding the sheep and chickens our grandchildren of 5 and 3 really enjoyed it especially the marshmallows cooked on the fire pit. Not far from the town of York with lots to see there too

We had a very memorable farm stay at Lizette’s property. From the moment we arrived, Lizette was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and passionate about sharing her farm with guests. She gave us a personal tour, introducing us to all her sheep, and we had the chance to pat and feed them. We were especially lucky to visit during lambing season, with seven newborn lambs on the farm—two of which were born while we were there!Lottie the sheep, and Tessa the resident farm cat, quickly became an our four legged friends. They were both super friendly and always ready for a pat.The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, perfectly set up with everything we needed. The beds were lovely and warm, made even better with electric blankets for the chilly nights. We loved relaxing in the reclining lounge chairs, and there were plenty of games and books to keep us entertained.Overall, this was a fantastic family-friendly escape with thoughtful touches throughout. We highly recommend Lizette’s farm stay for anyone looking for a peaceful rural getaway with genuine hospitality and plenty of hands-on animal experiences.

You couldnt meet more loving and welcoming people than Lizette and David. My family absolutely loved their time at Taboti Cottage Farm stay, with feeding the sheep and roasting marshmallows on the fire a highlight for the kids. Just the relaxing getaway we needed to recharge the batteries

I stayed at this lodge for two nights, and it was truly an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the hosts Lizette and her husband were extraordinarily helpful, warm, and polite. They made me feel completely at home — more like I was staying with family than in a lodge. The entire place was spotless, incredibly neat and clean, and maintained with real care. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made all the difference and elevated my stay to something special. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended — I’d gladly return anytime!

A lovely clean cottage hosted by Lizette and David. We also enjoyed meeting Lotte and the cat. A very clean and comfortable stay in inclement weather. The master bed is super soft incase you prefer a firmer mattress.

We loved the vast open spaces around us, the serenity and had a lovely walk along railroad way towards Mount brown. Beautiful area and very spacious clean accommodation.

This property is a wonderful, quiet, and tranquil place to stay. It is located on a farm, with wonderful views of the hinterland around York. However, it is less than 10 minutes' drive to York.The home is clean and comfortable with good facilities. In particular, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has good facilities, and the lounge dining areas provide a cozy and relaxing area.Lizette (the hostess) is very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I can highly recommend this Stayz venue.

Hosts Lizette and David were very welcoming and generous and caring. Cottage was quaint and well presented, listening to the farm animals every morning and afternoon was gorgeous. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely like to stay again.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Tamboti Farmstay. Hosts Lizette and Dave were incredibly warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that we and the kids had a great experience. The kids particularly enjoyed collecting eggs and playing with the friendly cat. The unit was clean and comfortable and the area really quiet. Definitely worth a visit!

Hosts that welcome you with open arms as if you were family, cosy 2 bedroom cottage perfect as a base for exploring York, immaculately cleaned and presented and a great selection of farm animals for the kids. Best value for money we have found in a long time!

Cosy little cabin on the farm, a perfect get away from the city. The hosts were amazing and friendly, showing us around the farm, letting the kids feed the sheep and collect the eggs.
