Stay in this cozy custom built guest cabin just 28 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance, where I strive to make you feel like a local not a tourist. The Tiny Timber is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood just off highway 20. It offers more amenities and conveniences than a hotel while adding the tranquility and privacy of your own mountain retreat! After a busy and crowded day in the park, escape to the Tiny Timber. You can cook, BBQ, build a campfire, play cards, try rock paintingor just simply relax, catch up on laundry and enjoy the mountains after a fun filled busy day. The Tiny Timber is brand new construction with all the comforts and cooking capabilities you need along with great WiFi.
Location:
The cabin is centrally located in Island Park. It's two miles from a gas station/store, bank and post office, with several restaurants and lodges within 5 miles.
Enjoy nearby trails and fishing or schedule a lazy river float down Big Springs. You will also find maps, books and local area suggestions upon your arrival.

The space
The Tiny Timber is a spacious 500 square feet. Your adventure begins the moment you leave Island Parks buzzing highway 20. You will be on dirt roads for about a mile. The roads are well maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive but they can get a bit muddy during the rainy season. Please be mindful of the 15mph posted speed limits along the way.
Other things to note:
There are three structures on the property: The Treetop Loft, The Mini Moose and your Tiny Timber. Each building has a sign, its own entry codes, its own designated parking and ample space for privacy. The neighborhood is amazing. It's safe, quiet, well maintained and full of friendly seasonal locals.

Simply lovely. It's exactly what the photos and description promise. It's a beautiful piece of calm and quiet in the forests of Idaho. Thank you Cheryl for our stay in your sweet little home.

This is a wonderful clean and quiet little cabin; a perfect spot to stay just outside of Yellowstone. Check in is easy and the host is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The property was very nice and it was very decorated with lots of mountain paraphernalia. The cabin was very comfortable and the area was very quite. It had a very comfortable king size bed and a very nice shower with lots of hot water. The only thing we did not like was the ruff road getting to the cabin but we would stay there again. Bottom line - we loved it and it was fantastic!!!

This little cabin in the woods was our favorite place we stayed on our trip from Grand Tetons to Colorado! The cabin was so comfortable, had an amazing shower & bathroom. The host was wonderful! We loved sitting on the front porch! Would highly recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here in early September- super clean, super quiet neighborhood, rock solid wifi, great water pressure and the perfect amount of space for my wife and I. Loved the ceiling fan and the extra hangers in the closet too. We didn't miss a tv or the a/c at all. Cheryl was fantastic to work with. We would definitely stay here again. You're only about 30-35 minutes from the west gate at Yellowstone and it's an easy drive. Looking for food nearby- check out Trout Hunter, sit outside near the banks of the Snake River, you'll be glad you did. Looking for entertainment nearby- drive the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway between Island Park and Ashton- the waterfalls are awesome. You might even see the Tetons when you're in and around Ashton. Go to Big Juds for lunch.

From the time we walked in we we were blown away by the extra details. A lot of owners provide cheap accessories but Cheryl offered an upscaled exerience. I would definiely stay again.

This property was clean, secluded, with beautiful furnishings. Yes, the road getting there was a little rough but navigable. We had a passenger car and had no trouble. The bed was very comfortable and shower had good pressure. Host provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar and creamer. We were touring Yellowstone and it was 30 minutes to the west entrance. Great place to stay!

Beautiful, cozy, clean little cabin in the woods near Targee National Park and just 30 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Pine trees everywhere. Cheryl is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. And the bed was so comfortable! 5+ stars, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

My husband and I were vacationing in the area so I was thrilled when I found this listing. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. New build, so clean, beautiful woods with lots of natural flowers & grasses. Very quiet! I love the 10pm-8am quiet time! KING size bed- this is hard to find!! Luxurious towels, crisp, clean bedding, this cabin is a DREAM!! Cheryl is friendly and helpful. My husband had a huge pause when we found out there was no TV, but he managed. That one detail probably opened up space for us to have some nice conversations. Will definitely return!!! ❤️

Plenty of space in this tastefully decorated cabin! We loved the little touches and no details were spared. Cheryl was an outstanding host and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to Yellowstone/Teton.
