Noisy area, Its a Sawmill that operates 24/7 MONDAY-thru FRIDAY!
Air conditioning. Although advertised as an amenity there was no air conditioning. The cabin was very warm which made it difficult to sleep. Day two we had to purchase fans. The lack of screens in the windows allowed for bugs to enter. This cabin did have everything else we needed for our stay.
kitchen sink drain froze on first day, however thawed and drained the next day, which was good, kept throwing breakers off if tried to cook and have heat at the same time, front door had huge gaps between planks that made up door and underneath the bottom I also have pictures, bought plastic and blue painters tape to seal up so it would be comfortable and would not damage property, owner would not reply to my emails about the cold water in the shower not being able to be turned off after my wife's shower, I was only concerned that this could be a problem for the owner and both of my text messages weren't answered, owners phone had a voice mailbox that was full, couldn't leave any messages. would not be opposed to at least a partial refund. I know the temp outside had something to do with the frozen kitchen sink drain however it seems to me that this rental cabin shouldn't have been rented in the winter & the other inconviences all add up to dislike. Thanks
Very nice cozy clean place management was awesome as well..one of the nicest cabins we have stayed at! And affordable
Very cute cabin. Great get away!
The cabin was cute and comfy. The bunk beds seemed a bit shaky, we didnt use the top bunk. The other amenities were all great. Had what we needed for a weekend stay.
No address sign along road no light in bedroom Refrigerator didn’t work Bed and covers smells very strong of dogs The Fulton was very uncomfortable We
Was unable to go with my daughter as We had a serious family emergency. We will definitely come up another time.
I had a hard time using your website and as the time got closer to the weekend to stay and the property manager answered my questions I realized this was not what I was looking for.
Lot and house was very nice, property manager was very attentive and close to plenty to do
Got in late, went out to eat, came back, relax in the cabin went to put popcorn in the microwave and there was a plate for molded chicken.
3 adults is about your limit that's what we had. We were ok . You could also fit 2 adults and 2 children .Besides that don't expect to be in the woods your next to the road . It's in a good location with privacy and a big lot.Plenty of room for a dog to run
Small but had everything we needed for a weekend away.
Messaged the host when we were 5 minutes away(a little after check in at 3) and got no response. Got there and waited a little bit. Then called her twice and texted the number listed on the listing with no response. 40 minutes after check in time I called Vrbo customer support who tried contacting property host with no answer. After a hour after check in we left and Vrbo is supposed to be issuing me a refund for my inconvenience. We noticed the grass could’ve been mowed also.
This was perfect for our two night stay. We felt warm and safe. Such close proximity to hiking Cooks Forest. Perfect little efficient kitchen, we most often tent camp without electricity so the tv and microwave were an added bonus!
This property was perfect for a weekend getaway - it was big enough to accommodate the three people in our group and was conveniently located.
with the owner but then she was very accessible. Left a day early due to circuit breakers keep going off, too much stress for me.
I had fun. As long as you are not expecting fancy it's a fun place. Small but it has a little bit of everything you need. Camp kitchen! Two burner hot plate, toaster oven, microwave. I like roughing it a little and was able to adapt and cook anything I wanted. Nice pavilion outside also.
centrally located. quite near everything we wanted to do
Overall experience with this stay was good. We spent 2 nights and were able to sit out at the fire and the area was quiet and peaceful.
Was a very clean, nice cabin. Hostess was great. Had a very nice relaxing weekend. ❤️
We had major issues communicating with the host about an issue with the door code and lock not working. Once we were in tho it was nice enough.
Thought property was more remote. Other people with dogs. Kept mine on leash. Property management was best part of my visit.
This place was awesome. Definitely will stay again. Close driving distance to trails. Place had everything we needed.
