Tiny cabin BIG CHARM/Full refund up to 1 day out/Fire pit/ Beach/No pet fee

I cannot say enough good things! The cottage was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN when we got there, and anything we might have needed or forgot was there. If you forget your toothbrush or toothpaste, it's there. Bandaids. Peroxide. Want to make an omelet? Fully stocked kitchen. Dinner? A grill outside or use the full oven and stove. Full ice cube trays in the freezer. Dog bed. Cookie jar with dog biscuits. All awesome! Oh, and there was a SLIGHT problem with the TV remote, and Jamie actually gave us a little refund, which was COMPLETELY unnecessary, but very much appreciated! There are 3 cottages on a private lane. One of the other families had 2 dogs and our dog was thrilled to make friends and play. And because it's a private road, there's no traffic except for the 3 cottages, so the dogs could safely play in the yards together. The beach was a short walk down the stairs and we took her there as well to play. Two hiking areas right down the road, walking distance. The area is very low key and quiet. We didn't see a traffic light all week! I was there to do a puffin tour in Cutler (Bold Coast Charter, totally recommend!), and we also went into Canada twice and up to Eastport. All very quiet, which was what we wanted from our trip. If I have a reason to go back to that part of Maine again, I would run, not walk, to rent this cottage again. It was so cozy and comfortable and just great to be in the middle of the woods for several days, hiking, hanging out, walking on the beach, etc.

This was a beautiful cabin in a quiet area. Cleanliness was top notch and I had the pleasure of meeting the friendly housekeeper, Carla. Every detail was taken care of. I highly recommend this cabin or any of the other 2 cabins on this property. The owners were wonderful and immediately responsive to a couple of questions I had. They provided some extra welcoming touches with water, delicious ice cream and a bottle of wine which was a pleasant surprise after our long travel day.

The hosts were welcoming; I’m not kidding, you are treated like family. The whole cabin was so well supplied we had to almost chuckle that they thought of everything. Nothing was left out. Fully stocked first aid kit! Yummy basket of snacks (doggie, too)! Their kitchen had any utensil and kitchenware you could ever use. I love to hunt for sea glass- and short of Cadez, Spain - this was my # 1 treasure hunt. Did I mention the sunrises? The new fire pit? The beautiful songs of the loons? The secluded long private beach we had practically (literally for us) to ourselves? The back porch? The path to the ocean? Communication Aplus. The only recommendation for us older folks would be clearer instructions for the TV use. (With Jamie’s help we “got”it-But in this environment who in the world needs TV? We hardly ever return to the same place twice. We will make an exception in this case.

The lighthouse cabin had everything we could need and more. The cabin is small but plenty of room for my husband and I and our two young children. Location is excellent. Easy walk to the beach where we all enjoyed searching for sea glass. Short drive into Lubec and close by to many hiking trails. Will absolutely be booking another stay in the future.

Cabin was stocked with everything imaginable. Area was beautiful especially the walk to the private beach where the dog was in his personal playground. We closed on a new home in Eastport and was delighted to be introduced to a beautiful spot in Lubec.

The cabin was clean and charming and exactly as described. The area was beautiful, the trails to the beach were gorgeous and the community engaging and friendly. The host and property manager were very responsive easy to work with and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return.

The Lighthouse Cabin is everything you think of when you think of a Maine cabin—but with modern conveniences. Lovely location a short walk to the beach and in the beautiful woods. It’s a short drive to Lubec or Campobello. We would stay again!

Peaceful and serene

small but very cozy. we greatly appreciated all the little touches in decor, snacks, games, beautiful landscaping, etc. hosts responsive and helpful. beach is beautiful and peaceful. we had a goldfinch friend who visited us every night by the fire pit.

Perfect combination of feeling like a guest and also quiet retreat free to do as I like on my own. Good to have Carla’s contact info on the backboard on the porch in case door code didn’t work. Not a problem for me, but could have been! Really appreciated fully stocked kitchen!! Enjoyed cooking most meals during 2 week stay. Already looking forward to next year!!

Very private and secluded, all the amenities of home and then some. Close to major attractions Campobello Island Park, Quoddy LightHouse, cobscook trails and much more. (Seen wales from the Head Harbour Lightstation at campobello park) Great experience you won’t be disappointed.

Jamie and Damon provided everything to make this stay enjoyable. They even provided firewood for the outdoor pit and ingredients for smores!!! What a beautiful, tranquil spot, close to walking trails and the beach. Would highly recommend for your vacation!

My wife and I and our grandson took delight in our stay in the woods on the Bay of Fundy. We came so we could visit Campobello and the Roosevelt cottage. This beautifully appointed cabin made for a perfect couple of nights. The hosts have thought of everything, which is especially important when there are not a lot of stores nearby. The kitchen and the grill were easy to use and had all the needed utensils, plates, etc. We heartily recommend this lovely place.

Damon and Jamie’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for—a quiet escape surrounded by nature, with the ocean just a short walk away. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well equipped with everything to make our stay easy. Will definitely return again and highly, highly recommend for an off-the beaten retreat to Maine’s Bold Coast.

I cannot begin to say how wonderful our stay was. The grounds are stunning and so very quiet at night, the cabin is immaculate, and the view of the bay is indescribably beautiful. Be sure to look up and take in the stars at night!

A very peaceful and relaxing environment. Quick and easy access to beach from cabin where we enjoyed early morning walk with our dog. We stayed late in the season so essentially had the place to ourselves, which we highly recommend if you like a quiet getaway. Lots of walking trails in the immediate area. Highly recommend.

These cabins are our favorite places that we have stayed. The location is perfect and beautiful, the house is so clean and well stocked, and there are so many fun things to do! We are so excited to come back next year!

I cannot say enough about this place. My husband and i rent regularly and this by far exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was incredible with everything we could have possibly needed. Will absolutely rent again, wonderful place, wonderful hosts.

The Lighthouse Cabin was a pure delight! It is so well equipped that we could have arrived with nothing but our suitcases and food and we would have been all set. It has EVERYTHING we needed for our week in Lubec. Highly recommended!

Everything about this cabin was perfect for me. I loved the coziness of the cabin and the short walk to the beach where I walked everyday. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even a washer/dryer and a dishwasher which I didnt realize ahead of time.
