The Trout Shack on the banks of the Wenatchee River

This cabin is so cute and cozy! So peaceful with the sound of the river. Just perfect for our 10th anniversary. And we got to bring our dog with us. Tracy was super helpful with great communication.

The cabin was very clean and we loved the Christmas decorations! They really went the extra mile to make sure it was a nice experience.

Even though there is another property rental directly behind this unit, it remains a very private setting. Quiet not withstanding the beautiful songs of the Wenatche river so close to the cabin. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for preparing meals; the bed is very comfortable and the uniqueness of this historical cabin is very warm and inviting. the hot tub was a plus and the robes provided were appreciated. Dont plan to bring your fishing pole as i did, as fishing is not permitted in this area of the river. also, if you have dogs, do know that there is no secure place for them to run about and they must be on leash during your stay. check-in was straight forward.

Perfect small cabin weekend paradise for the two of us. We were surprised by all the extras not listed; free wood for the outdoor fireplace including starter kindling and lighter, shampoos and soaps (unusual extra for a cabin), all kitchen utinsels and cookware (including some flour, basic seasonings, and cooking oil), even an outdoor gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck. This cabin really was a perfect, worry free, weekend getaway! We will definitely be returning.

Such a pretty cozy cabin that was nicely decorated for Christmas. We had a little issue with the toilet but the property manager was quick to respond and then my husband was able to fix it. Other than that it was a perfect winter getaway. Clean, great location, and relaxing. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A rustic and peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature. Great place for fly fishing and spending quality time with your special someone. Hot tub, Gas BBQ, Wood Fire pit, Gas Fire Table (on the Deck), Very Comfortable Bed and all the kitchen appliances (except a dish washer) you would need to make a good meal. Highly Recommend this location!

The Trout Shack was simple yet perfect—exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. It had everything we needed, was pet-friendly, and the cozy vibe made it easy to unwind. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We were cozy and comfy our entire stay!Bed is on the softer side and that was some of the nicest bedding I've ever slept on, downright luxurious. No pantry for dried goods but a well stocked coffee station, sharp knives, air fryer combo that has so many functions, and a lovely gas stove to cook on made this a great little kitchen to cook in. The grill outside is a giant flat top, we made the best steaks of our lives while taking in the views. I had a few questions throughout the stay and Tracy was quick to respond whenever I reached out.Our dogs loved lounging in front of the fireplace and we loved the giant hot tub!

Flipping gorgeous. Morning snow, winter wonderland, quiet, privacy, hot tub, warmth, excellent pillows, porch, all things working as they should. Is there a way to turn off the outdoor string lights? If so, maybe post those in view of the hot tub? But dang, this places is a little gem. We'll want to come back, for sure.

The cabin is wonderful and very clean with mod cons - even better than we expected based on the photographs. Being right on the river was fabulous, and the hot tub was new and very clean. We enjoyed eating our meals on the front porch while listening to the water flow by. The host went out of her way to offer us fun outdoor activities for our stay as well. Excellent rental! We highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was cleaned and well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We spend most of the time outside enjoying the river. There were different sitting areas. The hot tub was amazing along with the gas fire table! Tracy was an amazing host! We can’t wait to stay again!

Such a cool place! Historic and well updated. All the amenities you could want with the river, hot tub and gas fire on the porch. For clarity on the bathroom, we weren’t exactly sure based on photos - it is a toilet and shower, sink is in the kitchen.

To top it all off, two deer wandered through the yard, making our stay feel even more connected to nature.Though it feels tucked away, the cabin is just a short drive from Leavenworth, so we were able to enjoy all the restaurants, shops, and charm the town has to offer, then return to the calm of the riverfront.Highly recommend this special spot—we’ll definitely be back!

Was everything we needed to get away from the real world!!!! Worst part was leaving this morning !!!

My boyfriend and I booked this for our Leavenworth anniversary trip and it exceeded expectations. Tucked away by the river, in the trees, it was so romantic and the views were gorgeous. This little cabin was beyond perfect in every way. Had all the amenities we needed, and then some! Very clean, very cute. We will 100% be back here. Wonderful relaxing getaway. Close enough to town & recreation spots when you want them, but secluded & quiet when you wish.

The Trout Shack exceeded our expectations!! It is such an adorable and romantic setting for a quick little getaway. Coffee on the porch was my favorite spot while I took in the sounds and views of the river. It is a short drive to Leavenworth and so much better than staying in a hotel! My favorite place to unwind from work so far this year!

Enjoyed our stay. Be prepared if selecting this is a cabin that has been rehabbed not a modern place. One room. Its adorable but be prepared. The directions to this cabin were confusing and could be explained better. Otherwise loved our stay.

We love the trout shack! We have stayed here before in the past and loved it. I was worried that we had built it up in our minds, but it was just as amazing this time around. There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. Book the Trout Shack you won't be disappointed.

This is the perfect little cabin on the river. We had the best time.

Spent my husband’s 50 th birthday at the cabin ! Wow was I amazed the cabin is so cute and comfortable and the river is beautiful and peaceful we literally sat on the porch for 3 days and enjoyed each other, Cabin is fully stocked with everything you need and some more than other vacation rentals have , communication is great! Perfect getaway for 2 , there’s a larger home available on the property also We will definitely be back ! We even enjoyed a thunderstorm thru the valley during our visit and alls i gotta say is WOW
