First off i want to give a HUGE thank you to the owners. The check in process was sooo easy, and their response time was incredibly fast, every question i had they gave an in depth answer to. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and so clean, especially beings it’s so old, and has antique bed framing and old antique doors. The heating and cooling was way better than expected, EVEN THE STONE FLOORING WARMED UP! It had everything we needed, and they also offer special features (for extra payment which is totally understandable!) it was perfect! the best place to spend a night after your wedding.. Thanks again so much and i 1000% recommend this place to anyone who loves old style antique things! It was like a dream mini cabin for my Wife and I.

Every thing was great ! We stayed for one evening for a little romantic get away for our anniversary. We added the romantic candlelight package and breakfast the next morning . Really set the mood and breakfast was delicious. The room takes you back in time with all the added touch’s throughout the cabin.

This property is located on Stevenson Ridge which includes a variety of unique historical buildings to stay in! We stayed just for 1 night while passing through on a road trip and we were thrilled to find a place with a wood burning fireplace. The tobacco barn was stocked with firewood and they thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Small details like a record player, playing cards, a guest book from past visitors, neat decor, cool artwork, and MORE kept us busy and entertained! There was an awesome collection of DVDs but we opted for record player music and chatter around the fire instead. In the morning we enjoyed coffee and walked around the ridge property to check it out. We’ll be back to stay again and plan to bring our dogs next time!! A fun little getaway and great way to disconnect. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tobacco Barn. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and arrived to champagne and a card from the staff. A sweet little touch! The cabin was adorable, very clean, and cozy. It had everything we needed and was well stocked. I enjoyed having coffee on the porch swing. The property was very quiet and relaxing. Communication and checking in/out was extremely easy and stress free. We look forward to coming back in the future!

A beautiful little retreat from the moment we arrived. Tastefully decorated and delightful amenities. Fredericksburg, a short drive away, is a lovely town for strolling, and for history lovers, it's a bit of heaven. So pleased we stayed here.

The building has all its original charm coupled with wonderful modern amentities like a large shower with on-demand hot water.
