THE PHOENIX Lakefront Log Cabin in the beautiful Maine Highlands

The Phoenix cabin was beyond our expectation. Very clean and cozy. Our daughter lives near by and was expecting her first child. We booked this place for almost two weeks to be with her. So needless to say it was our home away from home. Beautiful sunrises and a few quiet evenings with a campfire. So happy our grandson was born while there. We will definitely want to stay again. A big thank you to the host!! Everything was perfect!!

We cant say enough about how wonderful this place is and highly recommend it. Neal was so easy to work with and made the check-in a breeze. We took our boat, 18' pontoon, and docking was more than sufficient. Fishing was the best we have had in years...and we fish many Maine lakes, primarily for bass. Numerous 3-4 pound large-mouth. The public boat launch is also very close. The camp is immaculate and very well supplied with anything you will need. Very comfortable and relaxing. We didn't use the bed downstairs only because it was just a double, but the beds upstairs were extremely comfortable. It was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing...just what we needed. Hoping to go back next year for 2 weeks! In fact, we had planned to sell our boat this year after our stay but had such a perfect time that we have changed our minds in hopes for a repeat next year!! We could not have asked for a better place to get away from it all. It is a 30th anniversary that we will not forget. The cabin was a home away from home. I felt like I was in my own place. We woke up to sun rises and relaxing by the fire as the sun goes down. We swam in the lake and took the kayaks out. It was amazing. Seeing baby ducks and listening to loons just added to the enjoyment. The area is very quiet and neighbors are friendly. We did not want our vacation to end. We can not wait till we can go back again. The host is very friendly and easy to work with.

From the smallest of personal details to the grandeur of the setting we were blessed to call the cabin on the Long Pond home for a week. The Phoenix is rich in legacy and filled with warm touches of days gone by. We came for a much needed getaway and to celebrate our granddaughter’s graduation. We look forward to our next visit in the mountains of Maine. Thank you.

The cabin is very welcoming and the views are out of this world. We felt right at home. We were able to fish every day and even learned how to kayak!

From entering the cottage to enjoying the lake, the kayaks and the firepit for a night time fire everything was perfect. Neal (the host) was available for any and all questions. Every household entity you could ask for was in the cottage and with a grocery store just a few miles away IT was a week of no stress.

We had a wonderful stay at The Phoenix! Everything you need is provided. The location is ideal as you are literally just feet from the pond and less than 15 minutes to Lincoln and under an hour to Bangor! We enjoyed many of the amenities that the property offered--the kayaks, the fire pit, the grill, the wifi, the deck with it's afternoon shade...Our dog swam multiple times a day; he often would not eat until he got a morning swim in! We saw (and heard) loons and had a bald eagle fly by on our last day. We hope to return year after year!

What a beautiful cabin! Fishing, boating, relaxing. A wonderful getaway!
