Very homey cabin. Clean, AC definitely blows cold! Manager Andrea was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great location, convenient to Frio Valley Golf Course. Cool restaurants in the tiny town of Leakey, TX.

The Whiskey Mountain cabins have been my favorite place to stay in the Leakey, TX area. Ihave stayed several times in different cabins. The cabins are very clean and cozy. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have.

We loved our stay at Whiskey Mountain! The cabin was just what we needed and the perfect getaway for our time there. Having a kitchen for home cooked meals and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise made the weekend extra special. The cabin was close to things too, like restaurants, the market, and awesome things to check out. If I’m ever back this way I will definitely be checking into whiskey mountain again! Thank you!

August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away from Garner State Park. What I loved the most about the cabins besides the cleanliness is that they were also pet friendly. Will definitely stay again.

It was our second time staying in Whiskey Mountain Inn. It is a great location, easy drive to Frio River, Garner State and Lost Maples Park. The cabin (Hondo) we stayed is clean and it has things you need for your stay. The place is relaxing and peaceful. The owner Cassie is very helpful and she make sure that the guests have a comfortable stay. This place is highly recommended and we'll surely comeback again.

This was a nice quiet location for us to get away from the city and enjoy the parks nearby. It was clean, cozy, and had all the essentials. We also liked that our dog was welcome. We will definitely be back.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay at the Hondo Cabin at Whiskey Mountain Inn. The bed was comfortable, the A/C was at the perfect temperature for the hot weather & it was furnished & equipped with everything anyone would need! It was conveniently located between Leakey & Garner State Park with a lot to see & do in each direction! Cassie was quick to respond when we had questions. She & her staff were wonderful & made us feel at home. We told our family about Whiskey Mountain Inn & we will definitely return in the future.

Electricity wasn’t working when we arrived at the cabin. It took several calls until someone finally called back & let us know there was an outage in the area. I completely understand it was beyond their control, but a “sorry for the inconvenience” didn’t help the fact that it was very hot & we couldn’t slow cook our brisket on our electric grill & have it ready in time. Also had to spend extra money on things to accommodate that inconvenience. Definitely feel like we should get some kind of refund since we weren’t able to use the cabin until after 1 in the morning. It was a cute little cabin, great area, just very dirty. My allergies were acting up & realized the ceilings were covered in a thick layer of dust. The “clean” dishes were dirty & I had to wash every dish before I used it. There was mud on the floor as if it hadn’t been swept & mopped before we got there. They have a list of things they wanted done before checkout, or we’d be charged an additional cleaning fee. Which is understandable, if only it was in that condition upon arrival. Loved the area, kinda disappointed in my stay at the Hondo tho.

Never stayed in a cabin before, my little family of 5 loved it. Was a cute little cabin with enough room for all of us. We loved eating outside together. There were plenty of little stores nearby with a couple of options to go to the river. Everything was just minutes away. The hostess at the little shop was super helpful, def has a lot of good recommendations.
