Stayed Jun 11, 2026The cabin we stayed in was perfect! We wanted to get away for a few days away from the kids in a remote, quiet area with a few restaurants and down town area. We went on an a couple of easy hikes right next to the river, but there are more moderate and difficult hikes in the area to choose from. There are also places to put into the river, if that's your goal. Beautiful area! The cabin was plenty spacious for two people, full fridge, kitchen with stove with cookware, spices, dishes and silverware, personal BBQ area with provided coal, shaded front porch facing N/NW, VERY comfortable bed and pillows, clean and spacious bathroom. Everything was high quality. The scenery from the cabin includes grassland, hills, mountains, a sheep farm, horses, and other wildlife. There are 4 cabins, a couple of covered wagons, and RV space. The cabins are situated so that you feel like you're alone and have privacy from the other guests. We saw a family arrive for their stay in the wagons, and their kids were ECSTATIC over it. It was cute to hear one them yell, I LOVE IDAHO!!! IDAHO IS THE BEST!!! A fun adventure for the kids if you want to try that. Staff/Owners were so friendly and let you have your privacy, but always available.
