The beauty of the Black Hills in a quiet and convenient setting

My husband and I had the best experience here. The owners are very friendly and compassionate. They made our stay extremely comfortable and welcoming. The home was very clean and beautiful. I loved that it was out in the beautiful country. Carol & Linda are the best. They have lots of ideas if you have never been there. We were there 1 1/2 weeks after my 2 month old granddaughter passed. They were so generous. They picked me flowers and gave me a card. They are truly the best. I highly recommend renting from Carol & Lin. We will for be back again some day. Thank you for all that you did for us the week we were there!! Sending lots of xoxo to you both and Clancy!! ?

Overall the place was pleasant as well as the owners . Just did not understand the whole situation with the owners upon arrival . They actually live in the house they are leasing out and during the leasing times of the year, they live in the top of their garage in a loft . most of their belongings are in the house and they designate areas that you can use . The front road is a dirt road for about a mile also that we did not know and we were on motorcycles . Anyone leasing this home will need to understand that owners are there and you have the sense they observe your outside actions . Again, pleasant people and nice place , Just want to make sure people understand a little more when reserving .

We stayed at Shady Grove in Nemo and absolutely loved it. We rented the lower level and it was very impressive. The home was very clean and the location was perfect. Private patio out back had a great view of the surrounding hills and nearby stream. The inside of the unit was decorated very well. It was centrally located between Mt. Rushmore and Deadwood so it made our day trips very manageable. The owners live on-site and were very helpful with recommendations. They are also very pet and child friendly which made our stay even more pleasant. I would recommend Shady Grove to anyone visiting the Black Hills.
