Host was very responsive and welcoming and cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated. This may sound random, but we loved the warm quality to the lighting, too!

The cabin was so warm and charming… My family and I had the most wonderful time. We would go back in a heartbeat. Highlights of our trip are the adorable cabin that welcomes our furry family members with warm hospitality, as well as the historical town of Leavenworth nearby which is unforgettable.

The house was perfect! Beautiful view, easy walk to the river, nicely stocked with kitchen supplies, lots of blankets, etc. Host was super helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. The views and privacy were excellent. The host decorated the cabin for Christmas.

Beautiful setting right on the river. The cabin is in great shape and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and very much as described and pictured. Host Lisa was very gracious answering several messages with pre-visit questions. The property is beautiful (but unfortunately very smoky from Chelan fires while we were there so we opted to mostly stay indoors). Wedding was at Mountain Springs Lodge VERY close by so this location was perfect for Nana watching kids while parents attended the adults only festivities. Would whole-heartedly recommend and would love to visit again.(Loved the helpful touches, like labels on all the light and fan switches so you knew what each operated!) Thanks for the great stay!

Property was gorgeous, we loved the hot tub and sitting by the riverside in the norning and listening to the water and nature. The perfect getaway without being too far away.

View and access to river from the back of the cabin great. Kitchen inadequately stocked for baking and cooking. View from front on neighboring properties unattractive and junky.

Absolutely — here’s a revised version of your review that includes the new details clearly and respectfully:---Misleading listing and an unwelcoming experience ruined our family trip.We booked this house a year in advance, expecting a relaxing family vacation, but it turned out to be incredibly disappointing. The listing advertised a 3-bedroom, but it was not a true 3-bedroom, and although it claimed to have air conditioning, the system did not cool the house properly.I had arranged for my adult son to stay in a nearby hotel to avoid exceeding the 6-person limit. Then, just three days before our stay, I received a nasty message from the host stating that he wasn’t even allowed to be on the property at all—no visitors were allowed, even briefly. That felt extreme, especially for a family trip. At no time was he going to sleep there, only come by for dinner and enjoy the river. To make things worse, the host sent a plumber to the house not once, but twice during our stay, which technically put us over the six-person limit anyway. The whole situation felt inconsistent and uncomfortable, like we were being monitored instead of welcomed.This was supposed to be a special time for our family, and instead it was full of stress and frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone hoping for a family vacation.

The only comment for renters is 2nd bedroom does not have AC livingroom and bedroom 1 has ac. Overall me and my family enjoyed the stay for 3 nights. When you go to the river in backyard make sure to put on the anti mosquito spray. My natural herbal spray was essential oil of citronella and lemon grass 5 drops each in 8 oz of water works fine naturally.

We definitely would be back. Beautiful cabin and love where its located. Never bothered by anyone. It was quiet. My dogs love it and loved playing in the front yard. Plenty of games to play with the family. Made a few friends (2 frogs ) The hot tub was a bonus too!!! The sound of the river was my favorite part. Drinking coffee outside patio was amazing! Hot tub was warm and toasty upon arrival. Key code for front door allowed for easy access. River access directly from the property. Excellent communication from the owner/property manager. She was extremely accommodating to my family and was easy to deal with. Couldn't be happier with my stay and fully intend on going back for a part two next year.

Perfectly appointed cabin, great for couples or friends. All things as described and well maintained. Couldn't have a better stay.

The house was awesome & exactly as it appears in the listing!! The property is wonderful. Being so close to the river is just heavenly. It was a perfect house for our friend reunion.

We stayed for 3 nights during spring break and enjoyed listening & watching the river from the deck, hot tub & on the river bank. Great location for accessing nearby attractions. Our dog enjoyed the yard.

We have stayed here in the winter for the last five years and love it! So peaceful.

We brought our 2 teens and their friends. Brought firewood to have a fire by the river. Brought meals to prepare the whole time. Comfortable get a way. Girls Went to Leavenworth for a few hours. Boys went fishing at the lake both days.

Check in was smooth. The house was well furnished and the setting is gorgeous

The cabin had everything we needed to make a few meals and get cozy and play board games with family. We loved seeing all the snow and sunshine! Beautiful spot on the river, we want to return in the summer to fully enjoy the deck overlooking the river. Thanks for sharing!

Overall the house and properties is great at least for the winter time can't comment about the summertime houses nice updated plenty of stuff for cooking full meals biggest issue we had was the inaccuracy of the ad stating it's a three bedroom this is a two bedroom with two common areas there is no third bedroom and then the hot tub is mainly accessed through through one of them bedrooms

This cabin was perfect for us to come and visit our son for Christmas. The sounds of the river in the backyard and the wonderful hot tub made it so relaxing. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

The house is cozy, with plenty of amenities to enjoy. The drive down to the property may require AWD/4WD in the winter but the driveway itself was recently plowed and had a snow shovel and salt available.

We loved our stay. The house was comfortable and well stocked. The property was beautiful and private without being isolated. Gorgeous in the snow. So much to do, not enough time. Next time we’ll stay longer.

We had a quick and quiet girls getaway for my sisters 40th birthday. The house was perfect for the 5 of us, we enjoyed the hot tub and the quietness of the community! Thank you for making the process so easy! Hands down would stay again.

The property is beautiful, a short walk to the river. However they should of informed you there was a yellow jacket/wasp infestation, and there was non-stop construction infront of the house (there's a new house being built directly to the left of it and there was a big bulldozer kicking up dust)

Such a beautiful place with an amazing view & small walk to the river. There was only a couple downfalls- lots of Bees & hanging bee catcher’s with lots of dead bees inside of each of them we weren’t able to eat outside. We loved the cabin & enjoyed playing at the river.

This was the perfect spot for a little R&R with the river being a big highlight for both us and our dog! The home was immaculate when we checked in and had plenty of equipment for cooking etc. The bed and linens were very cozy. We also really liked the charm of the small town of Plain which is just minutes away. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and she was great at replying with any questions we had. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

We originally had 6 people, but ended up with only 4. Was a great way to have common area together, but 2 separate sleeping areas. Easy check in and out and very clean place. Wish there wasn’t a burn ban, but what can you do?!? 😊

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Lots of space for our dogs to enjoy some roaming and splashing in the river. We kept cool despite the severe heat wave (the owner had just purchased a brand new fan). The house is equipped with two portable AC units, both upstairs, so the downstairs was a bit warmer but still comfortable with the window open and fans blowing. The neighbors do have a barking dog that encroaches onto the property despite attempts to dissuade her, ironically named “Lady”, but was not more than an occasional annoyance. The outdoor patio is a fantastic spot for morning coffee and late night wine. Thank you Lisa for allowing myself and my family to stay at your “Alpine River Hideaway”…
