Very clean and well equipped property, exactly as described in the listing.

Amazing view! Easy to work with and quick with communication. The neighborhood dogs were friendly too. Hot tub worked well after we googled how to use it. The instructions provided at the cabin weren’t applicable. Thankful for the starter items upon arrival such as toilet paper, paper towels. Convenient location without feeling like we were in city center. Overall and fabulous house and incredible stay.

Everything was great! Communication between hosts was excellent. Quick thoughtful responses. If we decide on a trip back to this area we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy drive from Burnsville which had a well stocked grocery store and several restaurants. The cabin is on a quiet hillside and the spacious porch looks out onto the beautiful mountain ridge. Everything was clean and comfortable. As another review mentioned, the big neighbor dog came to visit, but he was very calm and friendly. (Wish I had read this before arriving.) Also, there is no house number on the fence and our GPS stopped at the house before - we figured it out - part of our NC adventure. We loved the mountains and Burnsville is a sweet little town. The cabin was perfect for our needs and we would stay again.

Went for a girls trip. Very nice views. Hot tub was a nice addition.

Great house with a beautiful view. We had a rough start due to no internet & TV. We had to work so it was stressful, until we got a response to fix it two days later.Overall it was a awesome get away for us. Would stay again. Just unfortunate about the internet, not the property managers fault but we would of liked a faster fix.

Overall it had everything I needed. The property felt private and had nice views of the mountain, yet I was still close enough to amenities like a grocery store (10-15 minutes down the road) and restaurants in downtown Burnesville.

Cabin was clean, well stocked with what we needed for a 5 day stay and views of the mountains were perfect. The first time we drove up the driveway was a bit scary as some areas had washout on the sides but we got used to navigating past these areas.

Great family trip to the cabin, our son loved the hot tub and our dog enjoyed hiking the trails with us!

Comfortable home with well equipped kitchen. Great front porch overlooking the mountains. Hot tub is a plus!

We came to Burnsville to go to the Bare Dark Sky Observatory. The house was a short distance away. Clean, quiet, and pet friendly our needs were met at this property

This vacation was a time for healing after I lost my mom. I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place and it was just that. The house was absolutely amusing. Checking in was easy. I will say the road is scary for a city girl lol but I got used to it. I loved sitting on the porch talking to God and my Mom and Dad

We stayed at this property to be close to family we were visiting. The home was very clean and we appreciated the layout- big kitchen open to the living room. Rocking chairs on the front porch were nice. There was a dog that lived nearby that was on the property/porch whenever we came home. He was very friendly. Heavier blankets would have been nice as the beds only had a sheet and a thin bedspread, no additional linens were in the closets. Overall we would stay here again for the location and the cleanliness/comfort of the home.

Our Family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Sunset Ridge! It was a perfect weekend mountain getaway! The views were amazing! We enjoyed being able to use the hot tub to relax! Management was quick and responsive to our needs! Would definitely stay here again!

The views from the property were stunning. This place was a great size for 4 of us. It was situated near both Burnsville and Spruce Pine and near to lots of great hiking/views. We will definitely be back!

We really liked this house since it had such spectacular views of the mountains. The sunset colors were spectacular. The house was clean, well stocked and the beds were comfy. The A/C was slow to cool down the house the first night but once it caught up, it could keep the house comfortable for sleeping since there weren’t fans in the bedrooms. We appreciated being able to bring our fur babies on the adventure. It was a nice private location and was just missing the house number at the end of the driveway, but we still found it following the provided detailed instructions. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again for a family vacation.

The communication leading up to our stay was as described, until we did not receive a lock box code. Easy enough to call the office and luckily they were still in. The property itself is not marked with an address or number. I read that in someone else’s review, so I was prepared. Upon entering we looked around and I saw that there was a damaged toilet paper holder in one bathroom room and the towel rack had pulled out the wall and dangling from one end in the other. There are signs of wear and tear on most of the furnishings with the table holding the TV box about to fall down. The view was a little disappointing. It’s largely obstructed by trees. It’s not the most private or secluded spot but it was fine. All these things are just chances we take when we pick a spot based on internet pictures. All of these things I could overlook……….however Our second day the AC stopped working and we spent the last half of our getaway in extreme discomfort 83 degrees and probably higher. We opened the windows after the sun went down but the windows are on the wrong side of the house to get any airflow. We contacted the property manager as soon as we saw that the AC was not working. The property maintenance person came out pretty quickly. He wasn’t able to fix the problem. Of course the property manager was “sorry” they asked for a review so this is our experience. I can not recommend Pristine Vacation Rentals nor Sunset Ridge.
